We were overall pleased with the accomodation...in spite of all the steps!! We enjoyed our time...the hot tub is nice as well. We prepared our own food at home so was pleased to have a bigger fridge...and lots of storage!!
The skiing was awesome...we had some little 'folk' in our group so the weather is warmer this time of year...so no complaints about cold feet and fingers. Few of us took advantage of skiing right to the resort...but mostly drove to the lift.
We would definitely rent this place again at the same time of year!! -

bellinghamGood place, lots of sleeping areas.
Left on 02/21/2013 for a stay in February 2013
This condo has three bedrooms upstairs, one on the main floor off the kitchen, and a pull-out sofa in the basement. It is a very similar floorplan to several places we have stayed in the past (different complexes within Sun Peaks along that same road).
Good points: the TV is equipped with Netflix, which saved my son and husband when they had to miss a day of skiing due to illness. Location is decent. Easy ski in, a little bit of trek to get out, but not too bad. Everything was clean and orderly. Enough towels, utensils, and dishes. This floor plan has a very small living room, but this was the best use of the cramped space I have seen with lots of comfortable couch seating. (There is only so much anyone can do with the tiny living rooms.)
A few things could be improved: There is no window covering in the main-floor bathroom, which looks out to the snow trail in back. People walking by can watch you showering. This is a pretty major oversight. We fashioned a towel over the screen and propped it up to created a covering, but we shouldn't have had to do that. Also, the upstairs hall bathroom's door doesn't latch. So there is little privacy for that. The kids kept walking in on each other because the door wouldn't close (not just wouldn't lock, but wouldn't *close*). That is also something I felt was not ideal. It would make me not rent this place again, though if it were fixed, I'd definitely consider it again.

My boyfriend, friends and I had a awesome time! Very easy to book the time away, also very easy to find! (this was our 1st time in sunpeaks) The house was a great layout, we liked how the bedrooms were away from the main living area. The heated floors were a huge bonus! Hot tub was great! We liked that it was off the kitchen. The shuttle bus was very handy for a trip to the village. The walk to village was nice too.The skiing/snowboarding was amazing! Great mountain and fresh powder! We would definitely want to come back again!

KelownaAn okay stay
Left on 02/09/2012 for a stay in February 2012
The condo itself was good, but we felt that it was missing all the extras that make it wonderful. We have stayed at other condos where dvds, magazines and other extras have been available for us to use. Also, there aren't any tv's in any of the bedrooms. While I understand that not all people want a tv in the bedroom, it would have been nice to have the option.
We were also disappointed with the cleanliness of the place. It was dusty and a rather large chunck of chocolate with left in the couch which of course melted when one of us sat there...creating quite the mess.
All in all, an okay experience. -

We enjoyed our three night stay here for the most part. The kitchen had more than enough supplies, towels, toilet paper, soap was also good. Although it says eleven people maximum to stay I wouldn't want to have more than eight as it's not quite roomy enough if everyone wanted to sit in the living room, etc.
I generally write glowing reviews about almost all the places I stay but there was one thing that really turned me off. The owners obviously hire a cleaning company at Sunpeaks to caretake their unit but I believe they are being done a great diservice by said company. I went to bed the first night and became quite grossed out by the smell of unwashed body odour on my duvet cover. Finally I couldn't stand it anymore and we rewashed the sheets and cover. I suspect the cleaners are just slapping everything back on the beds because really who checks? I told my friends about this and then we started noticing other poorly cleaned areas, truly unfortunate because this is a nice unit. I hope the owners do a surprise inspection because they are getting robbed themselves. -

This townehouse was absolutely beautiful and fit myself and my 7 friends perfectly! Loved the greatroom, it was perfect for cooking and socializing!
We were right by the cross country trails so we just had to cross the road and put our skiis on! My friend skiing down hill was able to ski right down to the back door!
My only complaints were that there was no crock pot or salt as the advertisements claimed, the can opener barely worked, and the hottub water was terrible in quality: it foamed and was milky when turned on. Left some of us rashy and itchy. -

Left on 09/22/2011 for a stay in September 2011
We enjoyed our stay, the floorplan& space of the unit was perfect for our needs. A few things to bring to your attention which would have made it better: there was no patio/deck furniture or even stacking chairs for outside use; the BBQ was very dirty; one of the beds had a large clump of hair between the sheets

We had an excellent time, your home is beautiful, lots of room for families and teens. Further from the village than realized, and check in was a little late (4) and check out a little early(10) ... Loved our ski vacation, hope to do it again next year!!! Thanks for sharing your home!

SeattleAnother great ski weekend
Left on 03/18/2011 for a stay in February 2011
This is the second time we have stayed in Woodhaven 8. It is perfect for 3 couples. Although it has 4 bedrooms, it would be too cozy with 4 couples. Open kitchen, dining, living area is a great, comfortable gathering place. Ski in, ski out is a real plus. The living room could use better lighting for reading at night, but large windows provide great light and views during the day.

Had a wonderful time with family in a beautiful home. Well appointed! The only complaint was that the hot tub was very dirty! My husband had to spend time cleaning the filter before we used it. Hot tubs needs better maintenance.

Left on 01/06/2011 for a stay in December 2010
Everything was great but for 2 things First, the absurdly strict 10am check out and 4pm check in. This is the only condo we've stayed at that didn't allow either late check out or early check in - hard to understand given the 6 hour period between each. Second, the on-line payment required both GST and HST we tried to contact the property manager but were unable to, ended up paying both taxes, and then it took over a month to get the refund.
