Seattle, WABeautiful unit, lots of room to spread out, too
Left on 03/07/2013 for a stay in February 2013
We loved this place! Three families (5 adults, 4 boys ages 6-11) shared it for a 4 night ski trip, our first trip to Sun Peaks. The location was perfect, as it was great to being able to ski in and out (out is not as convenient to the main mountain but it was just fine)and this location is also the closest accomodations to the nordic tracks.
The furnishings, kitchen supplies, etc were really nice and had everything we needed. We loved having that second living area, the boys could go play and watch movies there while we had some good grownup time. Another big bonus was the heated garage, where we spread our ski gear out to dry. The only thing that was an issue at all was trying to figure out the main living room's DVD player, some instructions might help. Don was very friendly and quick to reply to all our queries and made it very easy to book, too.
Thanks again for a terrific stay, we will be back! -

We were a family group coming together from australia, Wales, Vancouver and Victoria. This is a comfortable well appointed town house. The decor, furniture and general chattels are of high standard but not too fussy which is what we want to relax. The comfort level was high and things like the hot tub and the heated tiled floors are luxuries for us and much enjoyed.. As people who wanted to self cater and like to cook we found the kitchen well equipped, it even has good cooking knives - we needn't have brought ours with us. We should have brought a veggie peeler though. It is practical with space for wet gear enough bathrooms and laundry facilities. There is also the advantage of two living spaces. The only thing that was potentially a problem for us was the sleeping space. It is set for 10 but we had 10 adults including 2 young adults and one elderly quite handicapped person. In order to fit us all in we had seniors climbing into top bunks and the disabled person using a bottom bunk. The manager was very helpful in helping us make the space work for us however. It would probably work even better with younger kids for the shared sleeping spaces which is probably how it was intended.
The house is located a distance from the village but skiing was easily accessed and a walk to the village was enjoyable. It was quiet and thoroughly delightful memorable stay. -

At least our 3rd time there. Arrived to warm and clean home. Never fails to meet our needs. We did not confirm if there was a blender for smoothies because we thought there had been one there before so kids did without as Braun did not cut it.. still an excellent two family (8 people) experience.
Thanks again! -

We throughly enjoyed our stay at Sun Peaks! Long runs, fabulous snow and not crowded! Woodhaven #33 was perfect for our group...2 families traveling together. We loved the "family friendly" atmosphere of the resort. Fireworks on New Years Eve was also a highlight!
