Stream Runs Through, Towering Firs, Beautiful View

There are few resort experiences as unique as Sundance and there are few places on earth that you can spend a few days that are as idyllic as this particular setting at Sundance. The branches of old growth fir trees brush the cabin’s windows. A year-round stream runs along the foundation on two sides providing ambiance and natural summer air conditioning. It gurgles under an eating/barbecuing deck leading to an 8 person hot-tub, tucked back in the pines. Two bedrooms have private decks overlooking the stream.

The cabin is open and airy inside with walls of windows; you feel like you’re living in the trees. The whole house has radi...ant floor heating so even on the snowiest days you can be barefoot in the forest. Curl up in front of the gas fireplace and watch TV or listen to music on a state-of-the-art theater sound system. Cook a meal in a gourmet kitchen when you’re not in the mood to make the short walk through the woods to the great restaurants and bar at Sundance.

Sundance is unique among resorts. It's tucked away in a box (in winter) canyon with high mountains on all sides. It feels like you're a hundred miles from civilization but a 5 minute stroll gets you to world class restaurants at Sundance. And a ten minute drive gets you to the amenities of town - including recreation like golf and boating.

Staying at the resort has benefits that the day visitor doesn't get to experience in quite the same way. Live music nights at Sundance's Owl Bar when the fire is blazing in the back room. Sunday Brunch at the Foundry Grill - particularly on patio days when the weather is fine. Sunrise bike rides on the mountain when you're likely to catch a moose, deer or owl at every turn. Sunset hikes back from Stewart Falls - two miles away through a high mountain meadow. Summer movie nights at the outdoor theater. Heavy snowfall days when our road is impassable for a couple hours (max) and the hot tub is cranking. Snowshoeing on full-moon nights when the Nordic center opens the trails at night.

  This rental will take your breath away. I call it my escape to no where and it 15 mins from the chaos of the city. The price is very reasonable and extra amenities that i don't see on this site. I will never stay at the lodge ever again after Dave and Judy rented in to me. It will accelerate all you senses making this spot memorable and peaceful. The beauty, interior modern look and positive aura that surrounds. The soaring rigid river run through property as it describes. I call it camping but a five star hotel. Don't pass this house up it is nothing like this web page describes it is the best place to stay at Sundance. The stairs are a great workout but I also was recovery from knee surgery..
