The owner/operator of this one bedroom condo was very accessible and responsive to all of my questions and requests. Most issues were resolved quickly.
The condo is in very good condition and everything except the safety deposit box was in working order. The bedroom was very spacious with a very good size master bath. The bathroom had all the amenities needed and extra towels for use.
The living room/dining room area had a table with four chairs and a sleeper/sofa couch that my teenage son used as his sleeping area. We did have to share the bathroom as the unit does not have a powder room.
The unit has a full kitchen and is stocked with some utensils, plates and cooking pots and pans. It would have been nice to have more of these as we had to put the dishwashing machine to full use after every meal. We ended up purchasing disposable dinnerware so avoid the hassle.
The unit also has a washer and dryer which allowed us to not need to bring as many luggage as we would otherwise. Make sure to buy the detergent though, as the unit does not have one supplied.
There's a balcony that connects the living room with bedroom and has partial view of the ocean. It is not very large and does not get any sun since it is located on the north side of the building but it is fine for just sitting on a deck chair and enjoying the breeze.
There is no phone in the unit so plan to use your cell phone when staying here. If you need to call the valet to get your car ready, you can do so from the house phone in the hallway by the elevators. Unit includes a valet parking, so you do not need to pay everytime when dropping off your car. Very convenient.
Hotel property charges $50 per day resort fee that you pay upon arrival for the entire stay. It includes use of the pools, lounges (pool and beach), towels, umbrellas, healthclub, access to spa and perhaps other resort amenities that we did not experience. It does not include the wireless internet that we had to pay for separately. We also paid for room cleaning that we arranged through the unit owner. The cleaning service was very good and we had them come by every other day, which was sufficient.
The grocery store and CVS are just across the street from the hotel so it was easy to re-stock the items we ran out of.
Overall a very good experience and definitely recommended for those who need extra space when traveling with kids but do not want to have to spend on two rooms in a hotel.
I would definitely return to this unit if vacationing with kids in the Sunny Isles area. -

This 1BR was perfect me and my family. The full kitchen was very convenient. The apartment itself was really big and Karen arranged an inflatable mattress for extra sleeping space. The ocean view from the balcony is also a nice perk.
