Sydney, AustraliaGreat stay at Cluster Cabin 19
Left on 04/01/2013 for a stay in March 2013
Have only good things to say about my stay. Cabin was good size, clean, had all the creature comforts you wouldn't get in a hotel and was central to everything we wanted to do such as skiing, Smith Rock and Bend. Add to all that the helpful staff at Mountain Resort Properties and it was the whole package. Would highly recommend.

Overall the cabin was lovely. The view was amazing and we really enjoyed the gas fireplace. It was very clean and well cared for. The only issue we had was the furnace/heating. Understandably heating varies from place to place and there's a learning curve for new places, however when getting up to turn the heat down our first night I stepped on the register and burned my foot. I also noticed the vinyl in the bathroom around the register was darkened, possibly scorched. This was a bit unnerving and we kept the place pretty cool the rest of the stay.

My husband and I really enjoyed our stay at the Cluster Cabin in Sunriver. It was so nice and quiet, and was worth the much needed alone time. We slept very well at night because it was so dark and quiet. You could walk out on the deck and see the stars just so bright. Not one street light shinning. You couldn't even see your hand in front of your face. I love that! The Cabin does tend to stay cold unless your constantly running the heat...but it was not enough to not make us want to stay again. It was a wonderful trip and a cozy Beautiful Cabin and felt like home. I have to say we didn't want to leave. We will certainly be back again.

Love Sunriver & Cluster Cabin 19!
PortlandPerfect Fall vacation
Left on 10/11/2012 for a stay in October 2012
Every year my husband and I look forward to our Fall vacation in Sunriver,
and Cluster Cabin 19 is our favorite place to stay. The setting is
Beautiful and the cabin is very comfortable and roomy.
We love taking the short walk down to the river to watch the sunsets, or the
scenic walk over to the Lodge for dinner (although the cabin's kitchen
Is very adequate for fixing meals!). The paths are great for jogging, walking, or
biking, and it's a very short distance to Hwy 97 and Mt. Batchelor.
We'll be back next year! -

Sunriver is a great place to vacation. We spend our time there with our Grandkids. The cluster cabin was a bit smal for the 6 of us but we made it work. Air conditioning would have been nice as it was in the 90's, but unfortunately there wasn't any. It was quite hot on the upper loft and bedroom.
We were a bit disappointed in that the kitchen floor was very dirty. You couldn't tell by looking at it but if you had to wipe something up, the paper towel showed how dirty it was, along with our Grandkids socks!
We couldn't understand why we only got 3 wash cloths in a cabin that sleeps 6. Then we had to use one of them as a dish cloth because there wasn't one in the kitchen and the sponge under the sink was disgusting. Only had a couple of hand towels between the 2 bathrooms. The pots and pans in the kitchen were okay, not a lot of lids. There were no serving type spoons. Kitchen was small with little counter space. No broom in the house.
We felt that this house could have been better if there was some attention done to detail as mentioned above.
The bedrooms were very small.
This place would be okay with a max of 4 people.
We very much appreciated the fact that there were 4 bikes.
Mountain resorts was great about getting us into the cabin a bit earlier than the 4:30 check in time which we appreciated. I would recommend them to go thru to find a rental next time, but doubt we will return to the cluster cabin (at least number 19). At first we thought we'd be too far away from everything but it was only a 6 minute bike ride to the village. We were able to ride to the new aquatic center, stables, village and even the Grandkids could ride to these places. We were right at the bike path which was nice. It was a very quiet location. -

We stayed here over Labor Day weekend and it was great. The house accomidated our family of 3 well. There was alot of sleeping space and the master bedroom was great. The bike path off the back deck was great. This cabin felt very private. Nice location near the village. Well worth the small price tag. The open staircase is not meant for small children though, luckily my 2 year old was afraid to go up it by himself. It is a little walk from the parking lot to the cabin, keep that in mind while packing. The kitchen was missing some basics like garbage bags, aluminum foil, but had lots of plates and cups.

I stayed in this cabin by myself and found it very comfortable and
private. I did some cooking and really liked the kitchen! I was able to
totally relax here and found nothing to complain about!
