      comfortable, great experience

Left on 08/02/2012 for a stay in July 2012

The family and I stayed in Puma 5 for a three day span in July 2012 and had a great time. We love the easy access to trails, walking across the street to Sharc and the quick access to the Village. The unit had everything we needed as a family of four. The bikes worked fine, but they don't have kids bikes so we ended up renting those. The only ding is that the deck had a ton of debris that I ended up cleaning so we could enjoy the outdoors. Also, you can hear people having fun at Sharc so if you are looking for absolute quiet, when outside, you might want find another unit.

      Weekend stay felt like vacation

Left on 01/17/2011 for a stay in January 2011

We went to Sunriver to attend a wedding. Rented a house for 2 days - mainly for the convenience with having 2 children. We got a great deal. Loved having the spacious living room for our 2 rough boys, the upstairs for them to sleep - giving us some privacy, and the private hot tub where we didn't have to deal with others. It was so nice! Best part was the ease of cleaning when we left! Not a lot of "requirements" and I really enjoyed that part. Sunset employees were great to deal with. Thank you!

My 2 nights felt like vacation. We will definitely come back.

      Refreshing and lots of fun.

Left on 08/01/2010 for a stay in July 2010

We did run out of toilet paper and purchased our own. Not sure if that was suppose to be provided. I also did the laundry as we did run out of clean towels. Again not sure if these should have been provided, but not a huge inconvenience (washer and dryer on site) and still had time to play and have fun. We appreciated the bike rental shop and the great service and the float on the river was great.

Really great place, for whole extended family!

Left on 02/24/2009 for a stay in July 2008

We had a really great time - we had two families plus the grandparents, and at Sun River there was always something that everyone enjoyed doing - from strolling through town, to exploratory bike rides, to an unexpected wine tasting one evening - always a pleasure. And people from 7 to 80 ALL had a great time, and they all even want to do it again - you can't say that for too many places!
Puma 5 specifically was a fun home because we put the grandparents in the large suite, so they had a place to go that was quiet and was their own, plus they could sleep in, or read in the chairs in their room, or watch TV by themselves. And having that room was good because if they weren't using it, we could send the kids there to have some alone TV time (i.e., we didn't have to listen to their pre-teen TV shows).
Having an entire second living room was also a plus, giving more spaces for various activities and social groupings.
The dining area was nice and large, plus the picnic table right off the kitchen was used by us daily!
So yes, we had a great time in Sun River in general, and Puma 5 was a huge part of making the trip a success. Thank you!
