Cute single level home (1500+/- sq. ft.). Located just a short distance to Mavericks, Fort Rock Park and the Sunriver Marketplace (off Cottonwood Rd.). Featuring a river rock fireplace in the living room, vaulted cedar ceiling, and hard wood floors in the kitchen. Other amenities include 32' flat screen television, BluRay and DVD player.

Clean, comfortable home, nothing extravagant. Was not informed as to how close we were to the railroad tracks, very close, as in you wake up about every couple hours during the night from the trains, sounds like they are in your back yard! The quick start feature on the bbq was not working, about singed all my hair off trying to light it... Other then that it was a nice stay. The Sharc passes were the highlight of my kids stay. I am an avid runner loved that you run about 2 miles and be on dirt trails til your heart was content!!

Without being to harsh, I would have to say that this home needs some TLC. Since we have stayed at Sun River before without incident we found a home that needs the hottub repaired (it runs all night), the deck is an accident waiting to happen, the carpets needed cleaning, the sheets and blankets need to be replaced (I should have taken my own along) some work needs to be done on the dishwasher mechanisms (the soap dispenser did not work)just to name a few things. However, as always we enjoyed our stay at Sunriver. The days were warm for riding bics and playing outdoors. The children enjoyed the use of the swimming pool and our daughter the use of the exercise equipment. We were told at check in not to tear the place up, but for us the goal was to enjoy the quiet and rest for a short while. We were weary.

Have stayed in Sunriver numerous times in the past but never so close to the railroad tracks. That was a concern initially but it didn't bother us a bit. You can't even hear the train until it's right there. No whistles are used and if we were asleep when it passed, we never heard it. The house was clean and well supplied. This location could use some updating with new TVs and mattress in the master bedroom. That was uncomfortable.

We had a fun and very relaxing time. The house layout was great for us but there were things we were disappointed in. The bed in the master bedroom was not so good as it had two huge craters so we each had to sleep down inside of them or else sleep slanted. A new mattress would be nice. The hot tub key didn't unlock the hot tub, however, the hot tub guy responded quickly and fixed that. Although later when we tried to use it, the jets would not turn on. There are bikes at the house but two were not rideable so we ended up having to rent them. There were several large stains on the carpet and a light bulb out in the futon room. As this was a cheaper rental and we got in short notice, I guess the value was somewhat okay, but still we were disappointed in the broken down stuff. Sunriver as a whole though: Awesome.

Very nice and cozy....
Train tracks behind house, and little noise, but not bad at all...
Hot tub was not that maintained, but still nice to have..
Maverick's was terrific...
