Conveniently located in Sunriver, with a view of a golf fairway from the deck, this rental was perfect. We were able to entertain a large number of our family for dinner and enjoyed the extra seating available on the deck. The outlay of the house is ideal, very little noise seeps down into the bedrooms from the main part of the house. Plenty of parking, bikes in good shape, and because we like to cook in, we appreciated the gas stove and BBQ! We will definitely be returning. Thanks! Read more
We are so glad that we were able to provide the perfect rental for your stay! We are so pleased to hear that you had an enjoyable family reunion and we are looking forward to seeing you again soon!

My family has stayed at Sunriver (and used Bennington) for a few years and have always had a great experience. Unfortunately, this time it started off with the house not being ready until 5 PM and still wasn't 100% clean. We were provided an excuse of housekeeping being short handed. Next, there was a truck that was permanently stored in the garage which wasn't disclosed on the property write up. With the ping pong table and all the bikes, there was very little room to maneuver and the ping pong balls would get trapped under the truck. There were also numerous sets of stairs so I wouldn't recommend this for older people. Additionally, the queen bed downstairs was very uncomfortable and the downstairs bedrooms were small. While the kitchen was well stocked with pots/ pans/ utensils, all the knives were dull and inadequate. The outdoor space was great and the deck was nice, but there was little room due to all the tables. The gas BBQ was great, but it was extremely dirty inside and out, and the propane tank wasn't changed from previous guests so it was almost out. Whenever we called for service on the property, we were 100% satisfied with the level of service provided. In summary, this was an average experience with a Bennington property compared with prior years. Read more
Thank you so much for taking the time to write a review about your recent stay at Cherrywood 6. Your feedback is very important to us and we take it very seriously. First I apologize for the property not being clean and ready upon arrival. That is certainly not the way that we want our guests to begin their vacation. During the busy summer season we had a few days where cleaners were simply not able to finish by 4:30 check in time. We have since put systems in place so that, hopefully, that will not happen again. It's good to hear that we were responsive when you needed us. However, we hope we will have another opportunity to give you a problem-free property for your next Sunriver vacation.

We have stayed in SR and rented numerous different homes over the last 25 years. Bennington Properties was by far the most efficient and welcoming management company we have used. The house had a great floor plan and good location. The only downside to our stay were the awkward shape of the dishes and not enough towels for the amount of people it slept. Read more
That is a nice quiet location near the golf course. Be sure to call for towels next time. We're always happy to run more out.

Thank you for having such a great house. We enjoy our week with the family very much. The house was so well equipped we were able to function just like we were at home. It was very enjoyable with the exception of the ant infestation in the master :). Read more
We had sent an exterminator over and eliminated the ant issue. Glad you enjoyed yourselves.

This house was very comfortable, with high cellings, hardwood floors, comfortable furniture, and a terrific large deck with three tables and a large dining room table for family gatherings. Well appoionted kitchen, with modern amenities. The hot tub is a little small and Cherrywood is a little out of the way (more difficult access and a longer bike ride for smaller children), but overall a terrific house for a larger family or two families. It is out there a ways but the upside is it's really quiet and peaceful. The North Pool is really close so that makes it fun. Glad you enjoyed the home.

A great house for an extended family
Left on 08/17/2011 for a stay in July 2011 | Diane Savage
We loved this house. Our group included the two grandparents, their two children, plus four grandchildren. Each of the three families had their own area for sleeping, but the Great Room provided the ideal large, open space for everyone to enjoy being together for our reunion.
Special highlights in the house: a very large kitchen/dining table, a large deck with multiple table configurations and chairs, enough baths so that each family had their own plus one extra off the entry, very well-stocked kitchen and bookcases (including great kids' books), and a nice view of the golf course.
The only negative: we are getting to the point where we need two bunkbeds, ideally in the same room (the cousins like to sleep together!) This house won't accommodate that, I'm afraid. Read more
