Spacious single level home in the heart of Sunriver just off Circle 11. 4 bedrooms/2baths Light and bright with lots of living spaces. 4th bedroom currently set up as a second living space with double glass doors. Large couch in bedroom can accommodate a child. Sleeps 6+. Huge deck in back provides a wonderful gathering and relaxing place with built in benches all around it. Hot tub.

I would definitely choose to stay in Witchhazel 5 again and I would readily recommend it to others. It was very comfortable and cozy yet spacious - making it perfect for entertaining. It has a huge deck behind the house with plenty of seating. And it has lots of indoor seating as well. And the kitchen is well stocked. The three bedrooms are very comfortable. We were grateful for the wireless and we ejoyed the bikes stored in the garage.
Bennington Properties were great to work with. They were quick to respond to our initial inquiries and they made the house very welcoming upon our arrival. We enjoyed our stay there very much.Response from Bennington Properties - 12/17/2012

This home was perfect for our family of five. Plenty of comfortable living space to accommodate our young adult children. We also enjoyed the large private deck. We were not disappointed.

Bikes were in very poor condition. We could not even ride most of them that was disappointing. We were there during the Olympics which we thought would be fun to enjoy as a family. The TVs were the smallest TVs we have ever experienced in sunriver.
Beautiful deck but we did get splinters from wood on chairs and stepped on sharp nails protruding from deck.Response from Bennington Properties - 08/09/2012

We had a super time at Sun River. The house was beautiful and easily handled 3 adults and 4 kids. We used the hot tub every day. Ate all our dinners out on the huge, beautiful deck. Bennington Properties was easy to work with. The staff was very helpful. They provided a Pack N Play, high chair, and other needed equipment soon after our request. There is so much to do at Sun River, swim, tubing hill, bike trails, and fun in the village. I want to go back to Sun River and this house, and will definetly work with Bennington.

We had a wonderful vacation in Sunriver this year. My husband and I usually take a week up in Tahoe this time of year, but decided to try Sunriver for a change. Had a great time at 5 Witchhazel, which was the perfect house for us. Great deck and slept so good in the comfortable king bed.

Bennington was very communicative and a pleasure to rent from. 5 Witchhazel was a little tired (carpet soiled), older kitchen appliances, and disproportionately small televisions. Bathrooms were small. Grill didn't seem to work particularly well. Skylights let in great natural light, the backyard deck was fantastic and the surrounding trees/wildlife were beautiful.

That is a great area with a wonderful back yard. I apologize about the carpet. They do tend to get dirty after a summer's worth of traffic. All carpets receive a deep clean in the fall.

I always rent through you guys. We always have a great experience. I do have to say that this house didn't have as many things, such as coffee, as the other houses have in the past. It also wasn't as clean. Had a mildewy shower head and a few other things. But we will always rent from you! You have nice houses and great prices.

This house is in an exceptional location...close to the park, north store, and north swimming pool. We have stayed here multiple times and love the floor plan that is open, with three separate pockets for people to play, read, or converse. Our kids love riding bikes around the cul de sac and exploring in the backyard. Great, huge deck also.

5 Witch Hazel was the perfect setting for our 5 night stay over the New Year's holiday. The floor plan was open so that everyone could congregate together, yet there were also pockets of sitting spaces so that different conversations could occur. The master BR has a perfect walk in closet space with a mattress on the floor for the kids to sleep and play. Bennington, as always, was on their game and I especially liked the extra e-mails I received from Robert, a very nice touch. All in all a very nice trip.

The house was very roomy, a nice change from staying in a hotel. Loved the large deck, kitchen was well equipped. Everyone at Bennington was extremely pleasant and fun to chat with and we really enjoyed the DVD library and popcorn!

We liked everything about this house. Plenty of space to spread out, nice kitchen, great deck, good location on the North end of SunRiver. We couldn't get the house we normally stayed at so we tried this and found we liked it better!

This house was nice but the hot water was an issue. There were only 4 of us in the home two of which were children and we ran out of hot water just trying to take showers. The kitchen could also use to have a few more cooking utensils and possibly upgrading the tv's would be nice. Due to the hot water we most likely wouldnt rent this home again.

Great location, quiet, nicely furnished house. Lacking a little in the TV department, but there was just enough snow on the ground to make it a beautiful place to spend Christmas. Bennington does a very nice job of preparing the house for your arrival. We arrived on Christmas day and there was Christmas music playing when we walked in the front door. Actual living room is a little small, but there are so many places to sit in the house that wasn't an issue, except to watch tv or movies.

My family had an awesome stay, we enjoyed all the space and the hot tub. The house was very well maintained and had all the utensils we needed. We really enjoyed how nice and quite it was at night. The back deck was amazing. My girls had a blast. Thank you!

We thoroughly enjoyed staying at Witchhazel5. We loved relaxing on the beautiful, huge deck. Nice master bedroom suite and we even used the gas fireplace. The location was convenient and we were very impressed with the service of Bennington Properties. The only inconvenience was that our teenage daughter wanted to use the Mavericks facility and apparently this is not available for Bennington guests, so she was disappointed about that. Would definitely stay there again!

The house was lovely and very well equipped. The kitchen had everything one could want. The furnishings were tasteful and everything seemed very clean and neat. The deck was huge, private, and a great place to sit with friends.
A big drawback was that the house was advertised as having one king bed and two queens. It actually had one king, one queen, and one double. The double was very uncomfortable for two adults and the rental person I spoke to was not at all sympathetic when I called about it. She did eventually reluctantly agree to a small refund. -

It was very acommadating, it was a great getaway for us all. It was a child less week and we left all our cares at home!

We stayed in this home the weekend my husband participated in the Pacific Crest Triathlon. It was the perfect place to come back to after the 5+ hour race. The hot tub was especially welcoming. The home was inviting and comfortable and we'd plan on staying there the next time he participates.

Nice home and amenities. Had a problem with the BBQ, but someone was there within 30 minutes to resolve it. Service could not have been any better!!
P. S. Kids REALLY enjoyed the visits from the two deer that visited us two days.
