A wonderful open floor plan, lots of cedar accents throughout home. This is Sunriver at its best. A large private deck and a great common area in back to provide privacy. Short distance to the National forest and access to great snowshoeing or cross country skiing in winter and mountain biking in summer. On north end Sunriver where it is very quiet and a great place to just get away from it all!

We stayed for a week in the Big Sky 8 rental property and loved it! The house was well-equipped, clean, comfortable, and had a beautiful, secluded back yard.
Thank you, Bennington Properties, for making our stay so enjoyable. We were very impressed with how accomodating you were if we needed anything at all, and the movie rentals (three free a day) were great!
You are definitely our first-pick resource when looking for another Sunriver rental. I would highly recommend you to anyone! -

The rental had a great layout for our five children, my mother, and the two of us. Far enough to feel your out in nature but close enough for a quick run to shopping. Loved the deck privacy, but it would have been nice to have an outdoor table to enjoy. Great kitchen space and it had everything we needed. Our only complaints were not having enough kindling for the fire and the kids were disappointed with the swim center. Many of the features were closed for the season.

Bennington Properties as usual were kind, considerate and accommodating.
The location of 8 Big Sky was was perfect, quiet and peaceful.
The house itself was dirty, unkept as well as being unsafe with faulty fire alarms.
Thus our 5 day early departure ~ not a pleasant experience by any means.
However Bennington Properties addressed our concerns beautifully. Thank You. -

Our family had an amazing time at Big Sky 8. The home was so beautiful, cozy, warm, very well decorated, and had everything a family would want or need.
The home is so well laid out...the hot tub was incredible, the kitchen large and very functionable. Every small appliance man could think of was available for our use!
What a wonderful selection of tasteful and wonderful movies to watch! It was better than going to the video store!
What a gorgeous home...We hated to leave it, as well as did our dogs Teddy & Chloe. They had a ball too! And, they say "Thank you" for the gifts left for them!!
Please use us a very positive reference for Big Sky 8 and Bennington and their people overall!

Nice house in a nice spot. We loved our time in Sunriver, and the house was clean and well maintained. My only niggle is that the internet service is pretty flaky.

The house was absolutely perfect for our stay. It very easily accommodated 2 adults, 5 children & 2 dogs. It was close to White Water Rafting & Golf. Amenties were very much met our needs.

A very comfortable home located near the Northwest corner/property boundary of Sunriver. Ideal location for Mountain biking and/or river enthusiasts with access to Benham Falls and National Forest close at hand.
Internet service adequate although at times spotty.

My family enjoyed the beautiful accommodations at Big Sky 8. The 6 adults in our group appreciated the spacious bedrooms and large bathrooms with lots of counter room and storage space. The main living area was perfect for us, as the kitchen/dining/living room was quite large with plenty of comfortable seating. The 3 infants/children were delighted by the huge deck, which had several lounge chairs, a hot tub, and was big enough to accommodate an inflatable pool. We ate our meals and spent most of our evenings out on the deck. The men were thrilled with the easy access to fishing on the Deschues River and the women enjoyed evening walks on the nearby paths. When looking at this home on the Internet, it looked to be perfect for us, and the "real deal" did not disappoint. We plan to be back for a winter trip and definitely another summer vacation!

This was our 3rd year vacationing in Sunriver with Bennington. As usual Bennington was wonderful to work with and helped us out very quickly with a few things at the house when we arrived. 8 Big Sky was a great house for our family of 5. We really loved the large private deck out back and the quiet location. We will definatly be back next year!

We enjoyed our stay at Big Sky 8 tremendously. We loved the private feel and comfortable cozy living room. The location was great and we had everything we needed to cook our meals. The hot tub was hot and the welcome gifts for our dog guests was very much appreciated as were the Dvds. We did have one surprise when the glass on the fireplace exploded, but nobody was hurt and the maintenance worker was very sweet and helpful getting it cleaned up so we could have a fire for the rest of our stay. We want to make this an annual trip.

We stayed at big sky 8 the week before the thanksgiving holiday (smart timing if you don't like crowds). We loved the house and the property around it. The living room was so comfortable, the hot tub was a really nice one with great jets and the big wood burning fireplace made us feel like we were on an adventure. The only critique I have is I think the master bedroom is ready for a new mattress. I could just be spoiled by a really nice one at home. Service by Bennington Properties was wonderful. Check in and out was easy and the effort Bennington made to make our stay comfortable was great. We would stay here again.

Everything exceeded our expectations. The house and location were exactly what we were hoping for. The house was very well equipped with anything we could want or need and the welcome package for our dog was a nice touch. Before we left we were already trying to figure out when we could go back.

This is my second time staying at a Bennington property in Sunriver and it will not be my last. In fact, I won't use any other vacation rental company because Bennington Properties is superb. Big Sky 8 is away from the town center but we loved that! It's quieter, the adjacent north pool is much more mellow and it was a wonderful bike ride into town. The house itself was probably the best equipped rental home I've ever stayed at. Fully equipped clean kitchen with all the supplies you'll ever need. Easy to use media center with ample TVs (as if you will even want to watch TV much) and books and games galore. There was plenty of comfy outdoor seating on the huge deck and the extra bikes and the ping pong table in the garage was a pleasant addition. The whole house was pristine and clean with plenty of towels, pillows and blankets. You would never know this was a pet-friendly property. No stains or bad smells. We had 4 adults and 4 kids staying there and we absolutely adored it. Highly recommend! Enjoy Big Sky 8 - We sure did :)

The mattress could stand improvement and the shower valve needs to be updated because it can radically change in tempeature when someone flushes the toilet upstairs

The extra enemities were suprising. Towels, soaps, firewood made the experience extra comfortable. The three bikes in the garage was a suprise and ended up being alot of late night adventures thru the sunriver bike trails. With head lamps of course.
The only thing that could have added to the house was an axe or something of the sort to cut kindling for the fireplace.
This was my third time staying at sunriver and this was by far the best acomidations i have ever experienced. I never knew these houses were available for such an afordable rate. We would like to make this house a yearly event if possible.

We typically come to SR in late fall to avoid both Summer and Winter vacation crowds. This place was pretty nice, and had plenty of space for the six of us as well as 3 dogs. I would say that the fireplace is rather small for a wood fire, you can't put much in it, and a fair amount of smoke smell gets into the house. Hot tub was nice, though some instructions on how to operate the controls would be nice! Garbage can door was broken and couldn't be secured, looks like raccoons got into the trash one night. This is a house I'd stay in again.

Was very good. Hope Rex (dog) wasn't a problem. There never has been a problem. Have been told that he hadn't been seen, no one would have known that he was there. The only faults were the stove burners, a common problem, the Master Bdrm bed is as bit saggy, kinda like a salad bowl and the patio door needs some lubrication, slides very hard. Outside of that, was very nice!

Nice property, reasonable rate, quiet location. I liked the closeness of the bike trail and pool, and the open setting off the back deck. Having a seat in the shower helped my 81-yr.old mother--I really wish more properties would think more about elderly visitors. Beds pretty good. Electric cooking awful--wish everyone had gas, and the burners were all crooked. Not enough good bikes (only 1-with 2 Peewee herman style), but I didn't care because I always rent a bike that fits me. Worst thing--screen door to the deck wouldn't shut totally and we all nursed mosquito bites nightly. Bennington properties responded quickly to increase the temp. of the hot tub (which seems to always be nec. no matter what property you rent), and to fix the garage door opener, and had great service at their office.

Big Sky 8 has a great floor plan with a kitchen fit for a king/queen. The beds were comfortable and plenty of blankets were available for those cool Sunriver nights. The living room had plenty of seating so everyone could hang out with room to spare. Whenever we thought of something we needed we opened a closet or cupboard and there it was. Since it is located on the outskirts of Sunriver there is limited vehicular and foot traffic passing by. The home is also located across the street from BLM property where you can walk for hours with your favorite person or pet. There were a few issues related to the age of the home but I felt I could contact Bennington anytime and they would be there, if needed. It was a very relaxing experience and money well spent. We would rent this house again in a minute.

We love big Sky 8! It has plenty of room for two families, and is very well maintained. We have used this house several years in a row. We love the location, away from the hubbub of the mall area, and close to the forest service road to the river. We have always had great service from Bennington Properties. This last visit we had a minor plumbing problem, and the maintenance man was there within minutes. We will keep coming back!

Home was in excellent condition and everything worked. The back deck was so pleasant and deer came by frequently, including one shameless beggar. We loved the location because it was far from the congestion of the village. There was a road a bit close behind the house but it rarely was a problem. Nice bed, great hot tub, lovely great room, and nice kitchen. We biked for hours and got in quite a bit of ping pong. Neighbors were spread out and we never heard them. We would definitely rent this house again.

A very nice vacation rental. Everything was clean and well
maintained. We especially liked the big rear deck that made you
think you were out in the woods! Having the master bedroom
on the first floor, separate from the two bedrooms upstairs
(where we put our young adult kids) gave us some nice privacy.
This house is on the north end of Sunriver which is quieter and
(in my opinion) nicer. Absolutely no complaints at all. Renting
from Bennington Properties was extremely easy and pleasant. -

Outstanding family equipped home in Sun River, Oregon. Large-open family great room concept that opens up to the kitchen and eating area. Large expansive deck that overlooks a forested area near the Benham Falls trail-head. Deer openly greet you each morning, along with squirrels and other animals. Quiet cul-de-sac setting on the north end of Sun River. Big hot tub and plenty of privacy for BBQ and enjoying the scenery. Well equipped kitchen with all the necessities of home.

Great place. Loved that I could bring my dogs. Great set up for 2 families with 2 kids each. A little bit far from everything, but because of this we awoke to deer every morning. Really enjoyed the set up, hot tub and BBQ. We wished we would have stayed longer.
