The Bennington's were amazing. So helpful finding us a home with 1 day notice. It was very clear they take pride in everything they do. The house was perfect. Very clean and welcoming. The setup would be perfect for a family with teenagers or two families as the downstairs level was a whole seperate living area. Great surround sound with iPod adapter. Nicely decorated. Upstairs couch a bit "sunk in" and not super comfortable. Kitchen with more than enough dishes, silverware, etc. I loved the reading chair and all of the books. The hottub was aged, blowers not working, but still felt nice. Plenty of towels, which you should know you have to supply your own at the Sharc center. No big deal, but we found out the hard way...drip drying. The game tables and radio in garage were great. Stairs up to front door and then more up and down from entry. So, for old dogs and toddlers, it may not be the best. For us, it wasn't a problem at all. Beautiful, quiet neighborhood with friendly neighbors. We would absolutely stay here again. We had a blast at the Sharc center! Only in Oregon would we swim and sunbathe in 65 degree weather :) My only complaint had nothing to do with the house, a couple of seperate incidents with rude, grumpy people who appeared to live in Sunriver taking their walks and biking on paved trails a little too seriously. Out for easy going late morning stroll with kids both walking and on bikes, and a dog. A little friendliness and patience would go a long way. Maybe retirement at a public resort is not for them. Unfortunately, this is not our first experience with rude people at Sunriver. Should be a fun, happy, relaxed family atmosphere. Again, The Bennington group is top notch in their rental business. We had wonderful stay at this home. The hot tub was a hit with the kids and the home was cozy for our family. The home was clean and stocked with the things we needed. The dishwasher wasnt working when we arrived and they fixed it within the hour we notified them. Such wonderful service! The Sharc facility was incredible and included in our package. We will definitely be using this rental and site again!

Since we found Bennington Properties, our yearly stay in Sunriver has been worry free. From the first call to, I believe it was Shanon, every aspect of the vacation stay was handled profesionally. You also have good rates. This property has 3 bed/ 3 bath so all were confortable. The 7 bikes in the garage is an example of how the house is set up. The ping pong table and foos ball game was so much fun. We will consider this property for next year. Thanks to all who made our stay comfortable. Mrj

The house was very comfortable with lots of space for different activities and room to "spread out." We really enjoyed reading, talking, and relaxing on the spacious deck. The bikes were a great way to visit Benham Falls as well as The Village and just exploring the area.
Bennington Properties made sure we knew they were there to help if needed. We would have felt very comfortable calling for help, but had no problems with anything at the property. The questions we asked before our stay were answered promptly and graciously.
Everyone from age 11 to 72 had a great time!

We were surprised to find such a "clean" home for being a dog friendly home. Our dog is a very well-behaved dog and so are our kids so we wanted a house that you could see is being rented to respectful families. This seemed just like that kind of house. I hope it stays this way! Enjoyed the wood burning fireplace with all the wood to our content.

This was a wonderful home that worked well for our two families.
The reverse living layout is very nice with a gathering area (i.e. living room/family room) on each floor. The dining room table accomodated our group of eight very comfortably. The deck was wonderful! There is a very nice BBQ and two separate eating areas that capture the morning or evening sun...very relaxing,nice views.
The master bedroom and bathroom are spacious. The beds in master unit and the queen bed in downstairs combo room (with bunk bed)were very comfortable. However, the queen in the second downstairs bedroom should be replaced. The mattress is very uncomfortable and the setup is extremely noisy--it appears the noise is coming from the metal rod system on the bedframe. My husband ended up sleeping on the hide-a-bed for some of our stay.
Other than the bed issue, it was a wonderful house.

I have rented through Bennington for several years. I feel I can always expect a pleasant house and an easy rental experience plus I very much appreciate the ability to go straight to the home with the lockbox feature. I rented Mt Rose about four years ago, this year it was showing a bit more wear and tear but still a good home. On the last day , however we were awaked by the sounds of chainsaws. The owners hired a tree service and we were taken by surprise. It was very unpleasant, they were cutting trees on all sides of the house and then chipping them. We were very worried about our car and could not pull it into the garage because it was occupied by a foosball and ping pong table. We were forced to abandon our plans for the morning at the home and hurridly pack while listening to the very disturbing sounds of trees falling, chainsaws, and the grinding of the tree chipper. I hope Bennington will compensate us for our last day. I will be planning my annual family august trip and would like to rent through Bennington again. But I would like to think they care enough about my business to make the last day of our June vaction rental right.

We would recommend the home or rent it ourselves again, but there are some issues that could be handled.
1. The bunk beds were NOT stable and we had to use ratchet straps for the extra support, to be sure that the bed would not fall.
2. The toaster only works on one side and when trying to shoot out the door and feed 8 people, it was a little frustrating.
3. The hot tub was jimmy-rigged for the jets to turn on and that made us a little nervous. We would have enjoyed using it, but wasn't sure what would happen.
4. In the garage the fooseball table had a man that fell apart. It looked like it had been glued before.
The accomidations were homey, but could use some updating in the kitchen(oven), and we did enjoy ourselve!!! The snow was a pleasant surprise. We would use your services again, actually are thinking about making this a tradition for our family and friends!!

We really enjooyed Mt. Rose2 and found the outdoor living space spectacular. In addition, the floor plan and 3.5 baths really facilitate our two family group very nicely. The home features some recent updates, and appears to be somewhat in transition. Once the evolution is complete, I'd give it 5 stars instead of 4. The downstairs master very much needs a new bed as the box springs are very noisy, and the dining furniture is less than ideal, but the dual living room and beautiful wrap around decking on a reverse living floor plan made a definite keeper on our list of options for Sunriver rentals.

Based on guest feedback, the owners have replaced the box spring in the downstairs master and it is no longer noisy. These owners work very hard to provide an excellent experience for their guest and wanted to address this as soon as possible.

This home fit our family well with the several tv viewing areas and the bedroom/bathroom layout. We were a little disappointed that the house greeted us with worn out front steps followed by dirty carpeting. The siding around the hot tub area is rotting. The house is dated in the flooring, countertop, wallpaper, and appliance area but some furnishings are up-to-date.

This is a great house and as you can tell by the other reviews, the majority of the guests that stay here love this house. The owners take a lot of pride in this home and have done some wonderful improvements over the last year with new lighting, new furniture, new interior paint, new TVs, giving the house a very comfortable feel. This is an older home so the flooring, countertops, etc are inline with its age, but all are in great condition. The "worn out" front steps are just chipped paint from a hard winter. Due to the high heat and dry climate, paint on external horizontal surfaces does not last more than one winter. The owner will be repainting in the Sprng. The carpets got a few spots on it from the previous guest, but were cleaned after these guests departed. The siding around the hot tub is not rotting, again it is just chipping due to the harsh climate.

2 Mt. Rose is an amazing property to rent. It had 2 levels with common common areas on both floors. Wood fireplace, ping-pong table, fussball, spacious kitchen and bedrooms. It is a great house to rent for a large group of people 8+ who keep the noise level down after 10pm (there's an adjacent house with elderly people). If you rent during non-holiday season, you get the 3rd night free!

This is a great place on the quiet side of the resort. We didn't have any problem with the house worth mentioning.
We had a great time BBQing on the HUGE deck and playing foosball and ping-pong in the garage. It was so much fun, we didn't have time to enjoy the little theater on the first floor.
Our party consisted of us (a couple), Grandpa and a family of five (brother-in-law with wife and three little girls). Kind of a vacation for the extended family. This house worked great for us! -

This house fit the bill for the size of our group of 8. We all had a great time and the ping pong and foosball games were a big hit. We'd definitely recommend this house to anyone. Everything was in order when we arrived and the lights were on with soft music playing to welcome us.

We spent four days and 3 nights at 2 Mt. Rose in Sunriver. What a treat! The accommodations were excellent, ie: Hot-tub, internet, ping-pong, etc... It is in very close proximity to various activities; my personal favorite being Mt Bachelor.
After booking our stay all that was required of us was to show up and a key was waiting for us. It couldn't have been any easier!
I would definitely recommend this rental to anyone who would like a comfortable stay with all the amenities you could ask for.

Our entire family spent the Christmas holiday in this lovely home. Wen were able to enjoy a "White Christmas". It was very spacious, perfectly equipped and a joy to stay in. We enjoyed the hot tub after a day spent skiing at the nearby beautiful, Mt. Bachelor. We would definitly recommend this very nice home at anytime of the year.

This was a great way for our family to all reunite. Every 3 or 4 years we get together and catch up on everyones life. This house was a great venue for this to happen, a lg deck and viable kitchen made for easy entertaining. Plus Sunriver has so much to offer for all of the various ages we had present.
