      Awesome Vacation

Left on 04/03/2013 for a stay in March 2013

We rented this house for 3 families. While not fancy, the home was cozy and comfortable and accommodated all 14 of us! The heat was up and music was playing when we arrived. The place was spacious and the hot tub was wonderful! There were some bikes for our use...bring your own helmets! Really my only criticism was that there was very little storage for our groceries. But other than that, the place was perfect for us. Also, Bennignton Properties, the management company, was great to work with! The check-in and check-out was very convenient.

      Cozy Cabin Christmas!

Left on 01/24/2013 for a stay in December 2012

This was a wonderful house with cabin- like feeling! The outside looks deceivingly small, but inside, bedrooms and loft to easily accommodate 12 of us! The three Queen bedrooms on the main floor made it perfect to bring the grandparents! The furnishings were comfortable, gas fireplace made it a warm refuge from the snow outside. The hot tub was a hit! Location was quiet and a short drive from Sunriver shopping area. The few issues we had were very quickly and cheerfully taken care do by Bennington Properties! We would do this again!

We all had a great week.

Left on 09/13/2012 for a stay in August 2012

The service provided by Bennington Properties has always been the best. They have been very easy to reach and communicate with, either by phone or email. My concerns and questions have been attended to in a timely manner.
The house was quite comfortable. It was just the right distance away from the main hustle and bustle. This allowed for nice bike rides without too much traffic.
Overall, Sunriver has just so much to do and see!

      See you next year!

You got that right Loretta. Lots of people call while they are here during the summer to try and add on extra days because they haven't had time to do all they wanted.

Really glad you enjoyed the home and the location.

      Thanks

Great set up for a group with kids/teens

Left on 07/18/2012 for a stay in July 2012

We had three families with 7 teenagers and this home was a great set up for a group and especially for the group of teens where they were able to hang upstairs together (1 bedroom and the loft with 2 sets of bunks and a hide-a-bed). The open floor plan in the living area accomodated the group very nicely! The home was comfortable and clean. The only improvements we would suggest is a little more maintenance (being an older home). Bennington properties was awesome to work with, great service with a great attitude, and the supplies were much appreciated (TP, dish soaps, paper towels, movies, etc.). A real bonus from Bennington are the Sharc facility passes that would be a must for our group when booking a rental in the future.

      Good experience overall.

Left on 07/11/2012 for a stay in July 2012

This is a large house, which was the perfect size and layout for our family reunion during the week of the July 4th holiday. We enjoyed the location, which is at the south end of Sunriver. It was very quiet compared to a more central location.

We had a great time hiking and exploring the trails on bikes, watching the deer from our deck, and enjoying the new aquatic center with our free passes from Bennington Properties. We had a wonderful time, and we will have lifetime memories from our experience.

The house is due for some remodeling. The kitchen, bathrooms and carpets need updating. The sliding glass door to the deck and hot tub sticks and can be difficult to open. That being said, we enjoyed our stay very much. The property management staff, Bennington Properties, was very pleasant, helpful and accommodating. They provided fans (the house has no a/C), baby cribs, high chairs and baby gates for our stay. We found them to be very responsive to our all of our needs, large and small. The house was a good value for us, and a nice fit for our large extended family. We will definitely choose Bennington when we plan our next reunion at Sunriver!

Perfect place for a stress-free family reunion!!!

Left on 06/27/2012 for a stay in June 2012

I rented this house and invited my daughter, her husband, and 10 children ages 2 - 18. I was a little apprehensive about the damage they could do to the house, but it was so child-proofed! Pineneedle 2 was well equipped with every thing we could need - even laundry detergent! We all had an awesome time and look forward to staying here again!!!

      Almost Perfect!

Left on 02/02/2011 for a stay in January 2011

Being a veteran at renting vacation homes, I have seen both the best, and the worst. For the price, 2 Pine Needle is one of the best. All beds were clean and comfortable, great separation of space, and a well-equipped kitchen. The hot tub was very clean but after 3 days of heavy use, it became cloudy. We met the hot tub guy as we were checking out and he was so friendly - he said "just call me" whenever it gets cloudy and he'll change the water! I can only knock off one star for lack of high-speed internet; but our 3G phones worked ok, thankfully. Also the range is getting a little long in the tooth. But the location is so great - close to the river path - and it was such a perfect fit for our 4 families, we will be back for sure! Thanks to Bennington Properties for a job well done.

nice stay for large groups including our dogs

Left on 11/19/2010 for a stay in November 2010

We enjoyed Pine Needle Number 2, it is a very comfortable place and nice to have our dogs along. We enjoy that this cabin has a rustic "cabin" atmosphere and that the kids and dogs feel at home. The hot tub is nice and the kids enjoyed the ping pong table. The big dining table is great for meals and playing games.
We did have a situation where the heat, the fire place and the hot water all stopped working at the same time, the property managers sent someone as soon as they could and the problem was fixed.

Great place for large family reunions !

Left on 07/15/2010 for a stay in June 2010

Our large family was very, very comfortable here for a week. The three bedrooms on the bottom floor were perfect for 3 couples with the queen, comfy beds. We had a baby who slept with mom and dad (in the port-a-crib provided) and the other 2 young kids shared with grandma and grandpa on the floor. Upstairs was a separate bedroom with twins and a TV/VCR combo, perfect for young people to be close, but not too close. The loft upstairs had 2 bunks and was great for adults as well as kids. This house sleeps 14 people very well, and easily served well for a dinner party to 24 people on several nights. Nice big tables !

It was nicely cool in the mornings and evenings in late June (loved the gas fireplace !) , I imagine I may not want to have to stay in the heat of summer without air conditioning - if it was real hot.

The 'lodge-look' is very appealing and the house is very, very comfy. The hot-tub is great. The yard is small, but worked well for games of ladder-ball and the view is pleasantly green and treed.

Finally, we all loved the fact that you could ride your bike anywhere and the kids could even ride by themselves around the circular street while we sat on the porch and watched them. It was all perfect for us !

      2 Pine Needle Review

Left on 04/22/2009 for a stay in April 2009

We thoroughly enjoyed the home, its location and setting. It's just a short distance to the village and the river. The back deck opens to an expansive area.

I only had two complaints about it. One was the microwave. Since the turning mechanism was broken, nothing we prepared in it could turn and, thus, often burned (like microwave popcorn). The second was there was no cupboard space available to store the food we brought. We had to condense items in a couple of cupboards to find some room.

      Enjoy!

Great House with a cabin feel.

Left on 04/16/2009 for a stay in April 2009

Great house. We had a large party of 12 people. Never felt crowded. Nice dinning area with two tables. Plenty big for our entire party. Enjoyed the hot tub which was sparkling clean. Nice to have extra bikes and enjoyed the bike trails. Had a few needed monor repairs: microwave cooked too hot and did not have a carousel, DVD players and TV remotes not very user friendly, and Ping Pong table net was broken. Overall we had a great time and would come back.

The house was warm, comfortable and clean for our group of eight. The dishes in the cabinets were not very clean and required washing before use. The home shows a few signs of wear but was perfect for our group of skiers. I recomend this property. We enjoyed our stay!

Great Vacation Home for Large Family Gatherings

Left on 10/21/2008 for a stay in July 2008

We spent four days at 2 Pine Needle and had a wonderful time. We were a group of 6 adults and 5 kids ranging in age from 1-13. We had plenty of room to spread out and did not feel crowded. The
house was a quick bike ride to the pool and services such as the grocery store. Everything was in order when we arrived, and when the VCR stopped working, it was quickly replaced by the property management company.

The kitchen is fully stocked, which made cooking our meals very easy. There is a huge dining room table for everyone to eat their meals. The kids enjoyed the hot tub, even in the hot weather!

The set up of the house allows for some privacy, as the bedrooms are distributed nicely throughout. There is ample parking for vehicles and a big garage for all of the bikes and gear we brought.

We will definitely rent this house again.
