Overall, great one-level rental in supurb location with biking path right behind. Kitchen well-stocked, house quiet and private. The beds were quite uncomfortable. Also, the bikes that come with the house need to be taken in for tune-ups. We weren't able to use one thanks to a faulty seat post and the other squeaked loudly. If the beds and bikes were replaced I'd give it and "Excellent" rating.

Thanks Margo,
We'll check out the beds and bikes.
Appreciate the feedback.

Left on 02/10/2012 for a stay in February 2012
We spent a long 4 day weekend at this house and it was perfect for us. Very nicely furnished, well stocked kitchen, very clean. Easy to get in and out of Sunriver for trips up to the mountain, and nice location for a walk to the village (took us about 20 minutes to walk there). We will definitely be staying here again. Great home! Loved it! Thanks so much!

Left on 01/07/2012 for a stay in December 2011
This was pretty good for our group of 7. Other than putting softer pillows and spare blankets (a must) in, we had a fabulous stay! We usually come there in late winter to early spring and this was our first time here at the holiday time and the place was hopping!
The pillows in all the rooms are just relly too hard and there wasn't one spare blanket to snuggle up with for any of us and it was in the high 20s while we were there but that is such an easy fix!!!Response from Bennington Properties - 01/12/2012
Manager
Mitch & Lorri,
Thanks for the head up. We'll get more pillows and blankets right away.
Glad you could spend the holidays with us.

We stayed for 3 nights at Pioneer 7. It is a very nicely furnished and clean house. The large stack of firewood was great!!!
The close location to Mt. Bachelor made the ski trip all the better.
We will definitely be back!Response from Bennington Properties - 02/02/2011

This was our second time staying in Pioneer 7 with the first in the summer. We love it for both seasons. It accommodates our family of four well and its location is great. It is a very comfortable, well-decorated place to stay.

Left on 03/31/2010 for a stay in March 2010
We stayed here 3 nights during Spring Break. The home is recently remodeled
and accommodations were excellent. The decor is very modern and
comfortable. We felt very pampered! It was a treat to be on vacation, yet have
all the comforts of home! (usually rentals aren't that well equipped) We look
forward to a return trip and will definitely refer this property to friends!Response from Bennington Properties - 03/31/2010

Portland, OregonOur perfect home away from home!
Left on 10/29/2009 for a stay in October 2009
We have been coming to Sunriver for over 20 years and have stayed in just as many homes. But that will stop with out recent stay at Pioneer 7. What a beautiful, comfortable, clean home. We can't say enough for the remodeling work. The kitchen was fully equipped...even a rice cooker! The location was great. Close enough to the river for an evening stroll as well as close enough for a morning bike ride to the mall to buy the paper. The only thing we could possibly think of changing would be harder beds, but that's just personal preference. Bennington Properties makes rental extremely easy. You're given directions to the home by email as well as the combination to its lock box. Upon entering you simply call to let them know you've arrived. As I stated before, we've stayed at numerous locations, but Pioneer 7 will now be our Sunriver home away from home.

My family and I had a great experience at our family reunion in Sun River. Our house clearly met our needs beautifully. We enjoyed using the two bikes available. This was a memorable weekend. Bennington Properties made the whole experience work, from reservations through departure.

Portland, OregonNice Remodel, Great Home but needed some type of air conditionin
Left on 07/22/2009 for a stay in July 2009
We loved this home. It has easy acess to the bike path, river and south pool. The only thing we didn't like about the home was that there was no ceiling fan or air conditioning. During the day, especially if there was no breeze, the inside of the home was stuffy and uncomfortable. A good ceiling fan would do the trick or even air conditioning. We would probably rent this home again if some type of fan/air conditioning was added.

All of our homes are outfitted with fans for our guests comfort. On hot summer days, we recommended closing all windows and blinds on the sunny side of the home. At night, open all of the windows and put the fans blowing into the house. With 40 degree temperature swings at night, the house will feel nice and cool during the day.

The house was beautifully furnished, every possible kitchen need met, the bed and couches were surprisingly comfortable, and the hot tub was perfect for those clear cold chilly nights. We enjoyed bike rides and walks in the quiet peaceful neighborhood. A perfect week-end. We'll be back.

Beaverton, ORBeautifully remodeled
Left on 05/06/2009 for a stay in April 2009
The inside of the house is very nicely done. All the beds were comfortable and clean. The only issue I had was waking in the middle of the night to a couple of big ants crawling on me. Kinda freaked me out. There was a trail of large ants the next morning outside the slider to the bedroom and along the house. Left and came back hours later...not a single one to be seen.

Molalla, ORSunriver Ranch Home
Left on 01/21/2009 for a stay in December 2008
Our overall experience was a 10 (10 being the highest rating), from the reservation process, customer service and the property itself.
This home had been recently remodeled and worked out very nicely for my wife and son. Although there was only the three of us the home could have accommodated two more children and two more adults quite comfortably.
We particularly liked the utility room, we were in Sun River to ski @ Mt Bachelor, the utility room provided us with a great area to put our wet ski equipment and apparel. This also has to be easier on the house because it eliminated the need to track ski equipment through the home. The hot tub was awesome too!
The only suggestion I could make to make the experience any better is to have a fireplace wood storage area built. We had plenty of wood for our stay, that's the good news, the bad news is it was outside in the weather, uncovered.
Again, overall we had a great experience and it will be our goal to rent the home in December 2009!

This is a great 3 bedroom cabin in Sunriver. All new kitchen and interior. We recently stayed an an estate that was not nearly as equipped as this place in Sunriver. Very thoughtful, has everything you need! Clean, nice and comfortable. We highly recommend it and we will be back here for sure. Our family loved it! From nice comfortable quality beds to brand new appliances, this place rocked!
