      Relax at Ranch Cabins!

Left on 04/06/2013 for a stay in March 2013

So fun to have Easter along the River as a family! We love the cabin and it fit nicely for grandparents upstairs and family of 4 downstairs with their own area and bathroom.
Biking was a great hit with us all! Love the piney woods and the Sharc and Maverick pools!
We had a wonderful time and hope to return again.

      Thanks Bethann,

Glad you got to join us. Sounds like the kids enjoyed SHARC and Maverics. Everyone does.

      Hope to see you again.

Good location for families with small children

Left on 08/02/2010 for a stay in July 2010

We spent three weeks at this cabin. Very much enjoyed the location. Small children loved the pool. We loved the location looking out back at the bike trail. Also- this cabin is shaded so we never were uncomfortable inside when the weather was hot. I would suggest some updates, especially in the kitchen. But we plan to return and will certainly request this cabin.

Great little place with a sad kitchen

Left on 10/01/2009 for a stay in September 2009

Great house. We'll rent it out again. The kitchen was frustrating at times due to it's gally one-person size and no grocery storage space.

We really liked the surrounding lawn for play with our boys and how the bike trail wrapped around us. This was also great for our boys.

The quiet was great too. Being away from a road was really good for us.

The tv cable cords should be updated so the reception is consistent and they each stay in strongly.

We also really liked the seperate bedroom areas.

Thanks. We'll see if it's available next Sept. Get WiFi

      Ranch Cabin #36

Left on 08/29/2009 for a stay in August 2009

We enjoyed our stay with you , however the house could use some updating. We did not like the floors or the chairs at the dining table. The stove really needs to be replaced. The location is perfect. We only had use of 1 bike, we were expecting use of 4. Renting bikes was expensive.

      enjoyable!

Left on 06/26/2009 for a stay in June 2009

We were there for a family reunion and other family members had rented 2 other of the Ranch cabins. We like the privacy the home provided and the size was nice. I didn't like that the floor was cement. It is a bit out dated in some areas, but it met our needs. The rooms were separated enough to afford privacy.

The small outdoor pool was fun to play in. Our entire group was able to enjoy it together.

The lighting in the outdoor area was poor. We were going back and forth to the other homes and you couldn't see. Two of our group ran into the large rocks in the landscape and received slight injuries.

We hope to stay here again as a group next year.

      Cooking a challenge

Left on 01/09/2009 for a stay in September 2008

We have stayed in several Ranch Cabins over the years and love them - they are cozy, the location is great and prices are reasonable. This one accommodated us and our friends nicely. The only problem was the stove - the metal stem on the knobs for the burners were broken and VERY difficult (or impossible) to turn on and adjust (even with pliers). I recall we finally got one burner to work, but it was difficult to cook an entire meal with one burner. When we mentioned it to the staff they said they had been trying to get the owners to get a new stove...but no luck yet.

Great place for the money! Was looking for 3 rooms, each with a large bead....and found it with this house! 2 queens, one king and it has a great REAL fireplace. Has a cool cabin/70's home feel. No hot tub, but fun little house.
      I'll be back.

      Great House!

Left on 01/07/2009 for a stay in September 2008

We really enjoyed this house and, in fact, we have already rented it again for July 2009. A couple of issues I hope the owners will resolve are replacing the old, loose electrical outlets and the outdated TV's. Otherwise, we found the house to be very comfortable!!
