Single story cocoa brown home on a quiet cul-de-sac with a view of the 12th fairway of the Meadows course from the back deck and living room. Kitchen with counter and barstools opens into living room and dining room right around the corner from the large river rock fireplace with fireplace insert. Vaulted wood ceiling with skylight offers a great deal of natural light to the living and dining areas. King Master bathroom also has two skylights and door out to private enclosed hot tub.

We enjoyed the quiet area and the closeness to the golf course and sunriver mall. The master bed was large and very comfortable, and the house was light and bright thanks to all of the windows and skylights. The master bath was nice and large, but the shower head stream was a little weak. We loved the wood ceilings, and the ktichen was well stocked with needed accessories. We were unable to use the decks due to the snow, but they looked inviting and had great views of the golf course. The only issue there is that the cart path is within 10 feet of the deck so you may have alot of company on busy golf days.
The main issue with the house is the dated interior. The problems were:
1. The oven would not heat properly when trying to bake.
2. The large screen television was older and did not have good sound. It was loud then quiet and sometimes crackled.
3. The hot tob cover was very heavy (my wife could not re-cover the tub), and the temperature was far too hot and stayed that way despite our efforts to change it.
4. The wood stove was marginal....had to keep stoking the fire to keep it burning.
5. Carpeting was adequate but old.
6. Lots of little spiders in the house. Should be easy to get rid of with some spraying.
This house just needs some upgrades and updates to rate as excellent. It already has the great location.Response from Village Properties - 04/01/2010

Close to mall and Sunriver Lodge/pool, so can easily walk or bike to swimming or restaurants. We enjoyed being on the golf course. Home near the 12th tee has a cozy deck, which is protected from errant shots by a screen. The kitchen is well equipped. Small rooms in the house could use some redecorating to update the "grandma's house" look.

my inlaws and there was plenty of room for everyone. The location is
perhaps one of the best features - we parked our car and never drove
it while we were there - we biked and walked to everything! Such a
wonderful home - highly recommend it! -

We have stayed at 4 Oakmont several times previously (our family has taken a Mt. Bachelor ski week, staying in Sunriver, for the past 25 years). We love the Oakmont location - it is very easy to walk across the golf course to the village, or along the cart paths to the Lodge. It is a well stocked house, with a large kitchen - useful as we often cook in.
We typically have 6 staying in the house, 2 grandparents, 2 parents, 2 teens, and it has worked out fine but someone often ends up sleeping on the couch (which is large and comfortable). -

Excellent private home in a terrific location on the South golf course and close to the mall and lodge! We had another wonderful vacation in Sunriver with our guests from Arizona who were visiting the area for the first time. We had stayed in another private home on the same lane many times in the past so were pleased to find this property available through Village Properties. It is a little bit older, mid-level home in Sunriver (25 - 30 yrs old) but has been extremely well maintained and nicely updated through the years. We liked the single story floor plan with a great view of the golf course from all of the living recreation areas. We will definitely try to stay in this very nice and comfortable home again.
