PortlandI'd come back to this one
Left on 04/04/2013 for a stay in May 2012
We stayed using the 4 nights for 2 promotion, which made it very affordable. We enjoyed the location, and the layout of the living room was nice, with separated TV area and sitting/conversation area. There were four of us, so plenty of room everywhere.

Thanks Nancy,
That's a great location and I like the separation in the home as well.
Glad you enjoyed it.

PortlandHad a nice time here.
Left on 10/23/2012 for a stay in October 2012
We stayed here October 18th-21st 2012. This house doesn't seem to get a lot of activity, probably owing to the lack of a hot tub. However, the house itself is pretty nice.
Two unusual things about it, it was clean. If you've been to Sunriver a few times you've probably encountered the dreaded black socks. Our socks stayed pretty well white during our stay, which was a nice thing considering we had two infants along. One which crawled over every inch of this house.
The second unusual thing is that it is very well insulated. Very uncommon in Sunriver. With two families each with their own infant, one downstairs and one upstairs, we had very little problem with hearing each other at night, also the house was nice and warm despite very cold temperatures. The downstairs bedrooms were a little difficult to keep warm, but the rest of the house did very well.
The kitchen is very well equipped we didn't encounter a need for anything we couldn't find. A good selection of pots a pans, cookware etc. Bring your own spices as this house doesn't seem to have the basic collection most Sunriver houses offer.
The only drawbacks were worn carpet, expansive linoleum, an unpaved driveway, detached garage and the deck would be pretty small if this were a summer stay. One other thing is that the loft which is a queen bedroom is very open and must be walked through from the master to the bath. None of those affected the enjoyment of our stay, just the overall look and feel of the property or some convenience.
It was a nice stay and I'd stay there again or recommend to a friend.
Thanks!Response from Village Properties - 10/26/2012

Denver, ColoradoGood vacation home
Left on 07/29/2009 for a stay in July 2009
The home was very nicely laid out, the beds were comfortable, and other amenities were very nice. The bikes were a nice addition, as was the very large screen television, and the openness of the kitchen. The only thing missing was a hot tub! I would also recommend that the check-in time be moved up - 4:30 is awfully late in the afternoon to coordinate a dinner, etc. Thank you for a wonderful location and stay.

OregonBeautiful home
Left on 01/14/2009 for a stay in August 2008
Beautiful home. So well insulated that it did not get hot even though the daytime temperatures were very warm. Ample space.
Access to Mavericks was appreciated, although I did not realize there was an extra charge for this.
This home was much better quality than the previous homes I have stayed in Sunriver. You get what you pay for.Response from Village Properties - 02/23/2009

We are glad you enjoyed your stay! We were surprised to hear that you were charged extra for access to Mavericks, since access is free and exclusive for all guests who stay in 'Mavericks' homes. You should only have had to pay extra to use the Flowrider- possibly this was the case? Our apologies if this was not made clear to you.

Santa Barbara, CAThe Perfect House
Left on 01/07/2009 for a stay in September 2008
We had the pleasure of staying in this house for 10 days. We found it
to be perfect for us. The home was spacious and bright. It has a very
large, well-appointed kitchen that is light and sunny. Two very
comfortable bedrooms and a large bathroom downstairs; very large
master suite upstairs. Also a loft with a queen bed. The living room
includes a media area (TV, stereo, etc) on one side with comfortable
couches. The other side has great light and seating for reading and
relaxing. The location was very peaceful and quiet - at the end of a
cul-de-sac. We enjoyed the patio area with its view of the
surrounding woods. The house was conveniently located for walking
to the Deschutes River. It also came with several bikes and was close
to the bike paths. We would definitely request this house again!
