Our condo is located in Sea Trail Resort in Sunset Beach. We are located on the first hole of one of the 3 golf courses on the resort with a screened porch overlooking the golf course and creek. The condo is approximately 1 mile from one of the best beaches in North Carolina. You will find the following in our condo: queen and double bed in master bedroom, queen and double bed in second bedroom, fully equipped/furnished kitchen, dining room/area, living room with TV & VCR and/or DVD and queen size sleeper sofa, washer, dryer, screened porch, FREE WIRELESS INTERNET, and more. The condo can be rented as either a 2 bedroom (sleeps 10 with full k...itchen), a one bedroom (sleeps 6 with full kitchen) or studio lockout unit (sleeps 4 with partial kitchen). Condo is in a quiet complex with ample parking outside the condo. It is on the ground floor with only 2 small steps to enter the condo. Sea Trail Resort and our condo are great places for families, golfers, honeymooners, seniors, and vacationers alike.

For the golfers, waiting at Sea Trail is a golf experience you will not want to miss. There are three different signature courses, designed by Rees Jones, Dan Maples and Willard Byrd to be enjoyed by players of all levels, but are challenging even to the accomplished golfer.

There are also two clubhouses which feature a full-service golf shop, lounge and snack bar.

The Village Activity Center (VAC) is available for a nominal charge ($80 a week or $20 per day for a family of six, for example). The VAC is only a 3 minute walk from our condominium and hosts a variety of activities. The outdoor pool with kiddie pool and heated whirlpool and its lush, tropical setting is perfect for relaxing. The indoor heated whirlpool, heated pool, and sauna are perfect for those cooler days. Take time to visit the full service spa for a massage with a licensed therapist. If you don't want to take a break from your exercise routine while you are away, take advantage of the VAC fitness center. Fitness classes are also scheduled year round. For the children, the VAC has planned activities daily during the summer and holiday periods.

Activities available nearby are: canoeing, kayaking, sailing, horseback riding, deep sea and pier fishing, eco-tours and adventure cruises.

Sunset Beach was voted "Best Beach on the East Coast" by Duke University and is in the Myrtle Beach/Grand Strand area. Sunset Beach has been a quietly kept secret of beach lovers. It has remained a wholesome, family-oriented community and was ranked the #1 barrier island on the North Carolina coast.

The setting offers the perfect backdrop for one of the most peaceful resort communities on the East Coast. The Grand Strand area hosts numerous "Live Entertainment Theaters" featuring shows by the popular group Alabama, world champion exhibition ice skating and spectacular "Western" shows.

The Grand Strand/Myrtle Beach area has already become known as "the Branson of the South." The climate is always pleasant. Temperatures range from an average low of 54 in January, to a high of 82 in July.

Sunset Beach & Sea Trail Resort are easily accessible via Interstate 95, Highway 17, and Interstate 40. Under normal driving conditions, it takes 6 1/2 hours to drive from Washington, DC, 12 hours from New York, NY and 12 hours from Pittsburgh, PA.

  Thank you for making our stay so enjoyable. We had plenty of room for us and our children; the unit was very comfortable, with ample closet space. Free WiFi helped us keep in touch with family and friends. The location was just a short drive to the beach, golf courses on site, and my favorite, shopping at the outlets, just 20 minutes away.
