This large four bedroom home is located in Surf City and is only a short distance from many restaurants and shopping. This home is direct oceanfront with three bedrooms on the first floor that are direct oceanfront. The fourth bedroom is on the top floor and is on the sound side. The home features two large oceanfront decks and has direct access to the beach from both decks. Your family will enjoy the spacious living area on the second floor. This house was great! It was right on the beach & had 2 large decks (one in sun on top & one in shade on bottom). Tons of room for many people. Loved the TVs in each room. Took our dog & she loved all the space! the gate on the deck was a very nice touch!
Would have liked more lounge chairs on decks - only one available to lay down on the rest were all rocking or tall chairs. Also curtains in bedrooms were not very private as you could see through them at night if the light was on in the bedroom. One other thing is the rental office is about a 20 min drive from the property in the opposite direction from where we came from so that was frustrating. Wish they would let you leave the keys in the house or have a more convenient pick-up/drop-off near Surf City instead of only in Sneads Ferry.

we enjoyed our stay in Topsail. The house was open, spacious, fantastic view. The kitchen was a little shabby and the carpet needed cleaning but all in all it was a great experience.

Newark, DeGreat location - House needs maintenance

Recently stayed at 726 Sunrise Court
Location is perfect as has easy access to town and shopping
First time I rented a "pet friendly" house and will not do it again ( carpts stained and had smell of previous pets)
House requires some maintenance...sliding door handles fell off od two doors and maintenance never came to fix.

The house had a good set up overall. It is, however, an extremely pet friendly house. When my family and I arrived, the first things we noticed was a flea collar on the ground and an empty water bowl outside of the deck. After checking the place out further we noticed so much do hair it was nearly unbearable. We vacuumed everyday of our stay and was able to empty a full container of dog hair and our dogs were not even wih us!!! Under the sofa and chairs were filthy with trash and wrappers.
It was not a very appealing first couple of days. The beach made up for it. A couple of steps over the dunes on the private walkway was great. Well, until we found fleas in the house. They weren't sand fleas either, they were per fleas. We found them throughout every room, in the beds, on our ankles, etc. we bought flea powder and vacuumed more. We actually cut out beach trip a day short because we couldn't stand it any longer. The end. Oh yeah. I am so sorry that you all found the home not cleaned to your standards and that you had to deal with fleas during your stay. This home does receive regular treatments, but apparently, we had to administer multiple intense treatments and wait out a life cycle in order to get rid of all of the fleas for good. Since your stay, the problem has been resolved and the carpets cleaned (as evidenced by subsequent reviews). In addition, the AC that had been giving problems since early summer has been replaced.
I am so sad to hear that these circumstances drove you to cut your vacation short. Please accept our sincere apologies and the compensation offer that you should have received from our customer service manager, Bill. I know this doesn’t give you your precious vacation time back, but hopefully it will somewhat soften the blow of a day lost. We sincerely appreciate your patience and your patronage. Our stay could have been marred by a number of small problems with our house, but the Treasure Realty staff made it all work. We had a number of glitches at arrival at the house - due to the previous renters, we surmise - but the office rectified them all in a swift and friendly manner. The house is lovely and in a great location. We loved the roomy main living area and the closeness to the ocean. We would have preferred that the bedroom with bunks not be the sole bedroom on the first floor and that the kitchen might have a better flow - tough for two cooks to be working at once! But overall we had a great vacation in this house.

Only a minute from Surf City. The Surf City pier is within sight from the back window and the intercoastal waterway from the front window. Plenty of room for 8 guests. Since we arrived after hours we did not meet anyone at the office, however we did have a minor concern that was resolved quickly using text messaging. We liked the house so much that we booked it the day after we returned home.

Check-in and out is simple and easy. Very organized staff. The home has open floor plan on the main level which is great for a crowd. Love the ice maker over by the bar area. Convenient to have the gas grill on the balcony outside the kitchen. Great upper and lower deck and enclosed outside shower. Super to have a gate to keep the furkids contained. Liked: TV in each bedroom, large laundry room allows for tossing dirties before washing, two exterior doors at bottom level on each side of house with ample parking under house, about a mile walk to the pier. Convenient to shopping and restaurants. It appears that the carpet might be ready for replacement as there are some obvious pet spots on all levels.

Great place for a family vacation. Close to everything, but plenty of room. You don't have other on top of you on the beach. Great beach for both swimming, fishing or just letting the kids play. We really like the large open family room on the top floor. You can see the sound and the ocean from this home.

Everything we needed was available. Treasure Realty took care of all issues in a timely manner. The location was fabulous - great ocean views! The comfy furniture made this place like home. We will definitely rent this unit again.
