We greatly enjoyed our stay at your Golf Colony Resort at Deerfield condo July 15-22. The condo was even nicer than we had imagined and were very pleased with it. Our first reaction upon opening the door was "wow." The quiet peacefulness of the resort and the condo's decor made it truly seem like a home away from home, and we appreciated having floats for the pool left for us on the porch. In previous years we have stayed in condos that were more expensive and less homelike than yours, so the condition of your condo and its tidiness amazed us. Thank you again for making our vacation memorable. We have enclosed the key to the condo and hope to rent from you once again next summer.

"Away from all the noise and crowds"

I really enjoyed the condo. Two friends and I stayed in it for "Senior Week" in June. I was surprised at how huge it was. It could have held almost eight people comfortably. It was very well decorated and we had all the amenities that we needed - refrigerator, blender, microwave, toaster, washer, dryer, etc. We really loved the fact that it had two showers. Everything was wonderful about the condo. The pool was right outside our back door, the neighborhood was quiet and the location was great.

There was a Walmart, gas station, and numerous fast food restaurants right down the road. Two things were really great for us - the distance from the commotion in Myrtle Beach and the price. All week we heard stories of friends getting into trouble for noise, fights and bad behavior. Where we were there wasn't all that attention. The big "parties" were in Myrtle Beach so we didn't have to worry about getting pulled into a problem. Also we loved the price. One group of our friends paid more than twice as much as we did for a week, only to end up with a one room two bed mess for five people. The only room that we saw that even compared to ours at Myrtle Beach was in the Atlantis, which was about the same size, but the people staying there told us they had paid $2150.00 for the week! That's outrageous considering we only paid $725.00. Overall we really enjoyed the condo and next time we come to the beach we plan on staying again. Thanks for the wonderful accommodations, service and price!

Additional Location Information

Our condos are no pet, non smoking units and are spotless. They are completely furnished with washer, dryer, towels, linens and all amenities. The condos are located in Golf Colony at Deerfield Plantation. Golf Colony is a residential community located five minutes from the beach between routes 17 business and 17 bypass. Unlike most rental properties the area is composed mainly of residents, rather than tourists, which creates a much quieter and peaceful atmosphere for a relaxing vacation. As shown on our website the pools are literally 30 feet outside your first level screened in porch and have adjacent whirlpools and grilling areas. They are not community pools but are reserved for those buildings adjacent each pool. That, along with the fact that most of your neighbors are residents (that leave for work each morning) leaves the area very peaceful each day. We are 5minutes from the beach, 8 minutes from the airport, 10 minutes from Broadway at the Beach and 10 minutes from downtown Myrtle Beach.
