We stayed with and extended family for a week in July. The place was perfect. Though it could sleep lots more people, we spent more and gave every couple their own room. The place is exactly what you think of when you dream of a beach vacation.
Pros:
Master bedroom to die for: long balcony, ocean view, sunrise view, but can block if necessary. Very private
Decor: tasteful more of a colonial island style as opposed to the normal bright beach colors. I thought it was perfect.
Pool: Is on the beach side, larger than some. I did not like the homes with the pools on the street side.
Ocean view: with only one row of houses in front and the house in front is one story so it feels like ocean front. Access to ocean is very close.
Living area: Large open room. Large balcony for extra dinner seating and another living area.
Neighborhood: lots of rentals around, but not super noisy, Walking distance to pier and to a couple of restaurants that were satisfactory
Overall just beautiful: Surfside is a nice beach town for those who may want to be near Myrtle Beach, but want more privacy.
