Our first time...we traveled with cousins, we drove from New York and we tried our first real adventure with our autistic teenage son. The first impression of the house was wonderful - bright, sunny, clean and looking right at that ocean view. We were extremely surprised how stocked the house was, especially for the the kitchen. Having a special needs kid sometimes means cooking at 3am and every utensil, pan, dish I could wish for was already there. Great access to the beach and the cool, shaded pool was a refresher after sitting in the sun at the beach. The last impression of the house...bright sunny and I miss it. I'm writing this review only 15 hours after locking the door and I miss the place. Restaurants close, Walmart close for necessities, walking everywhere...people were friendly and helpful. We plan on coming back...

We have rented Surfin' Turf for the past 7 years as a gathering point for our kids and grandkids. It is the perfect end of summer vacation and the home and beach provides hours of fun and relaxation. The house is exceptionally well maintained with yearly upgrades include a pool and hot tub. It is within walking distance of several restaurants and other recreational activities are close by. The City of Surfside Beach does an outstnding job of not only maintaining the beach but keeping it safe and clean. We couldn't be happier with the accmmodations or services during our stay and plan to return each year just before Labor Day. For us it is the ultimate family vacation.
