We love Surfside but we would not recommend the property because of the Rental Comanpy. All of the appliances in the kitchen were broken. The slider in LR was broken (lock included). The beds all had stained comforters. The master bath was not cleaned. We called to report the problems (no return call). Finally, they send a maintence man out (bob) who was informative and professional. He fixed what he could and gave a detailed report confiming our issues on his cell (to the office presumably?) As far as we knew there was nothing more to be done. A day or so later the rental company sent a glass company over to our property without notification but with a key! We were startled and upset. Shelly, a manager in the office was, unhelpful, inconsiderate, and unsympathetic to our issues.. She mentioned we could have refused the work (which was major). We kept asking how we were supposed to refuse when we didn't know he was coming!!! The glass company did a horrible job (we had a galss company owner on vacation with us). The pictures of the rental did look exactly like the property. This review does not reflect Surfside as a town. We love Surfside and will visit again using a different rental company. Surfside Realty is not recommended.
