The Swannanoa Valley is one of the few valleys within minutes of downtown Asheville that remains largely undeveloped. From our mountainside home, you can see northward to the Craggie mountains. Pastoral farmland, river frontage, and hiking trails dominate the valley. Peaceful, inspiring, and romantic: for 1000's of years, dating back to the Mississippian period when native peoples first lived in this valley, this land has been home. You will feel at home from the first moment you turn onto our road. While with us, explore downtown Asheville, hike on the 25 miles of trails owned by our neighbor, Warren Wilson College, visit the Biltmore Estate, the Grove Park Inn, the Sandburg home in Flatrock, the Blue Ridge Parkway. Drive or fly into the Asheville airport, just 20 minutes away. Parking is available at the home for up to five cars, easily.
