Port Eynon Beach cottage is located 100m from the beach and there are a first class restaurant and pub very close. The cottages benefit from a large play area, patio and barbecue area for guests to enjoy. There is a wood burner in the lounge. All bed linen, towels, bathroom and kitchen consumables, energy costs and logs as well as a welcome hamper are included in the price. If you are not familiar with the Gower and Port Eynon, it is a charming fishing village and as such consists of pretty cottages developed in a random higgledy piggledy fashion. There is nothing like the stunning view over the village with the sea stretching to the horizon as you begin your descent down into the village via the winding road. Port Eynon is the most southerly point of the Gower and the public road ends there. There is no through traffic. The beach is backed by sand dunes and you can walk along to the East to Horton, another charming village. In addition to the restaurant and the pub, there are fish restaurants, a surf shop, and general stores for provisions. A short boat trip allows you to see seals, dolphins and a wide variety of bird and sea life at close quarters. A local bus service takes you on a sightseeing trip around the Gower
