London UKA delightful break in a gorgeous setting
Left on 08/10/2012 for a stay in June 2012
I stayed here with my husband, my parents and my bother, his wife and my niece in June this year.
We had a lovely break and the proximity to the beach from the house is fab.
As all the reviews below state it is a gorgeous house that has been beautifully fitted out and the bathrooms are lovely, the house is big enough and laid out well that you can get your own space and privacy if needs be :).
there are some absolutely stunning beaches nearby - gorgeous part of the world!
It was a perfect spot for a lovely relaxing stay and don't think - just book! -

AltonWonderful Weekend in Wales!
Left on 05/23/2012 for a stay in May 2012
Eight of us spent 4 nights in this lovely house on a self catering basis, but Kay,the very friendly and generous landlady, did come in every morning and prepared scrumptious breakfasts for us!
The house was extremely comfortable, spacious, light and airy and so beautifully decorated. As a group of friends we have been spending long weekends away for several years and we all agreed that Brook House had been our favourite place. A bonus being the fact that it is just a few minutes walk to a beautiful beach.
We will definitely return.

Brook House in the heart of the village of Port Eynon, provided excellent accommodation (comfortable, well designed, well-appointed & pleasantly decorated) in an area of outstanding natural beauty. It is only a short walk to the local facilities (only small local shops so we recommend you stock up before you arrive) & sandy beach. We required 3 doubles & two singles; the singles were quite narrow for adults but all agreed the beds were very comfortable (much appreciated after walking the Gower Way). Kay's attention to detail & her willingness to put herself out to help facilitate activities such as links golf nearby, a walk to Rhossili (both with glorious coastal views) & a meal at the Smugglers Haunt, run by her daughter - all hugely enjoyed - contributed to an unforgettable break. We shall be back!

Left on 09/21/2011 for a stay in September 2011
I stayed here the night before my wedding with my parents and bridesmaids. A perfect space to quell any pre wedding nerves. The house was spotless, bedrooms fresh and comfortable. The kitchen was spacious and clean, the lounge was well equiped with all you could need; ipod dock/ comfy seating etc, and a lovely little area outside to watch the stars from. We're all coming back to visit and we're looking forward to taking long winter walks and coming back to a cosy house and lighting the fire.
Booking was easy and each question I had (many) was swiflty answered by the owner.
I have nothing but praise Brook House. -

The whole experience was superb. Lovely and friendly people, the room and house have been decorated to an unbelievable standard and you are able to enjoy your break without any concerns. The house is in a great location too - just down the road from the beach, loads of walks, pub and food (the restaurant is fab - a must). Plus the breakfast was perfect too! We couldn't recommend this more - and will definitely will be returning for another stay.

The moment you step inside Brook House prepare to be enchanted by the spaciousness, tasteful layout and decoration, everything you could ever wish for in a holiday let. Light, airy, sumptuous lounge to gather in with friends or family, kitchen and dining areas (inside and outside) that make every mealtime a joy to indulge in. SwanseaLovely cottage in seaside village.
Left on 05/23/2011 for a stay in April 2011
We arrived late in the evening to a lovely welcome by the owners Kay and Blair.Brook Cottage had plenty of room for our group of friends and has been set up with socialising in mind. The well equipped kitchen with its huge american Style fridge/freezer has everything we needed to cook our meals and opens out to the dining area with its large table- great for sitting around and the open plan lounge with its squashy sofas and chairs arranged around a cosy fire. The bedrooms are lovely, very smart and cosy and the beds and bedding are very good quality, we all had a good nights sleep, the ensuite bathrooms are superb. There was room to park all the cars in the driveway so we didn't have far to carry all our stuff. We didn't use them but I know there are games for adults and children to use.Brook Cottage is in the centre of Port Eynon which is right on the beach and there are footpaths going off in every direction into the Gower countryside, we enjoyed a lovely meal in the Smugglers Haunt Restaurant that serves home made Pizzas as well as Fine Dining , and there is a pub and chip shop in the village as well. I particularly liked the standard of fittings and furnishings in the cottage, it was so comfortable we didn't want to leave.

Sonning Commonluxury in a 5* gower cottage
Left on 05/18/2011 for a stay in March 2011
I can honestly say that the accommodation at this cottage is 5 star with en-suite shower rooms and flat screen Tv's in all bedrooms besides the lounge downstairs. The kitchen has everything that you need in it. There is a nice patio area outside and a BBQ for long summer evenings, unfortunately it wasn't warm enough for us to have one whilst we were there. The owners are extremely nice people and very welcoming. There is an excellent restaurant and two pubs in the village. There is plenty of parking for 4-5 vehicles at the side of the premises which also has a gate to be closed at night. This is important as I have stayed in Port Eynon before where parking is very limited. Everything about our stay was excellent - even the weather (sunny but a bit cold!!) I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this to any of my friends or family wanting a relaxing and enjoyable stay on Gower.
