Rates shown do not include linens and bed makeup service, which are automatically included with all rentals. Cost ranges from approximately $100 to $200 per stay, depending on house size (weekend or week). All rentals include our Security Deposit Waiver program, which protects you from accidental damage up to $3,000. All rentals are charged a processing fee of $80, plus local and state taxes totaling 12%. Many homes allow rentals with a 2-night minimum throughout the year, except for major holidays which may be subject to higher rates and 3-night minimum stays.   Disappointing

  I went into this knowing that because this was the least expensive place that was both waterfront and large enough for our party, it was likely to not be the nicest place. It wasn't. Upon entering, I was overwhelmed by a powerful, unpleasant odor that seemed a combination of dead things and something else. A half a dozen scented candles helped this a lot. Next I noticed that the place is just dirty. There are spider webs everywhere. There were hairs on the bathroom sink. Lots of them. Like someone had shaved just before I arrived. When I opened the toilet lid in the master bath, it came off in my hand. The beds are all ancient and creak if you breathe too hard. The hot tub only worked sometimes, and a call to have it serviced went ignored. The dishwasher was broken. The stairs down to the basement are a deathtrap because of the wonky handrail. And this is minor next to everything else...But the decor is horrible. Tacky and tasteless and completely inappropriate for a rental unit. If you want to decorate your house like that, it's your business, but don't subject renters to it. The only thing this place has going for it is the location. Right on the lake. Nice view, and a nice private dock which we much preferred to having an assigned slip. If you need a larger waterfront place and are on a budget, this is about your only option. My advice is to skip it anyway. Pay a few bucks more for a nicer place or save some money and get a place off lake.
