It is located close to quiet Carmel Cove and yet it is positioned on a quiet lot without neighbors in close proximity. There is plenty of space for kids and the family pet to play in the yard or gather around the firepit for some smores. Inside, the family room and open main level floor plan provide great spaces for gathering together. Sunlit Serenity was a very nice property. It had wonderful amenities, and was furnished and decorated nicely. We had plenty of room for three couples and a toddler! We enjoyed spending the mornings out on the deck. Would have liked to be closer to the lake or at least had more direct access to it. Had to go to the state park to use our kayaks. That was inconvenient. Some road noise during the day as well. Overall, our stay was pleasant. I would consider renting this property again.
