Stayed for our second time at abbott's Bliss. We had a great week. Fishing was good. Kids's had fun on Zip line tour and coaster at Wisp. Swallows Falls hike w/ manadatory Ice cream stop. Good Pizza and Beer at Mt. State Brewery. It is a great house with planty of room. Felt right at home.
Neighbor was another story. At the time of our stay the 3 community boat slips were all empty the entire week. Upon arrival, I looked in the house information binder and there was no mention of any specific slip assignment. We chose the one that seemed logical to us. On Friday, a neighbor homeowner chided me about being in the wrong slip. We moved to another slip. As it turns out, she had called the DNR police at my home who threatened to tow my boat. The lady told us she had freinds coming in an hour. As of Saturday, all slips were still vacant. Please post the slip assignment , (if there is one). It was a very negative ending to a great week. -

arlington, vagood house good location

it was a little far from wisp but not too bad. nice forested setting, great accommodations, nice hot tub. all appliances and equipment worked great. very tidy. we had a great time.
I would note that the driveway is really steep and we got freezing rain, so almost got trapped, so they really are not kidding. would not hurt to bring ice melt and a good shovel if there is precipitation. otherwise was perfect. -

An awesome home for our annual New Years weekend get together, ALMOST 1/2 way from Kentucky and Delaware. Plenty of open space for relaxing in front of the fire, around the dining table or in the kitchen and still being involved in all conversation. Kitchen amenities were over and above your normal rental home. We did have a problem with the oven, but maintenance had us up and running within that same morning. As written in the property description the driveway is steep and to use caution. We arrived while it was snowing...and wow! A great home that comes highly recommended by all of us.
