Renting with Railey MLV is so pleasant and easy. And Bear Creek Lodge was perfect to accommodate us and all our children and grandchildren. The space and layout provides common areas, and yet private areas for each family unit. The kitchen is spacious and very well equipped. Outside there is a fort for hours of fun for little ones and a perfect slope for sledding. Then load up and be at the Wisp to ski and tube in just a few minutes. This was our third stay at Bear Creek, our seventh with Railey MLV, and we will definitely be back!

The Bear Creek Lodge was great. We took a group of high school students on a retreat and this space was just what we needed. There was more then enough space and the communal space was awesome for our group time. The students really enjoyed the updated bathrooms. The only downside that i can think of is that it was a little hard to find at night but even that wasn't really a big deal.

The cabin was very spacious, awesomely decorated and very comfortable. All was in order when we arrived. The biggest thing that I wish the owners would change is...add cable to the bedrooms. Not everyone likes to watch the same show. All in all it was one of the best stays we have had in Deep Creek and wish to rent this cabin next year. Please pass on to the owners to really think about getting cable in the bedrooms. Thanks again for a wonderful vacation in Deep Creek and for renting your lovely home.

We were so pleased with our cabin and service at Railey. The location was great and cabin had everything we needed. The only down side was the walk to the dock. We had quite a few fishermen and boaters who walked the hill many times a day. But all in all, we would definitely return to Bear Creek Lodge. This is our 2nd time at Deep Creek and we love it and hope to return again. Thanks.

We loved our stay at Bear Creek Lodge. If you are looking for the perfect home to reconnect with family and friends, this house is for you. We loved the beautiful great room, long dining table, and casual log-home decor. The kids loved all the games (foosball, air hockey, and board games. Though there is a nice TV in the great room, we didn't turn it on once-- there was too much to do! The remodeled baths are stunning. The location on a quiet cove was very nice.

First and foremost the home is beautiful. I love Bears so this was a perfect fit for myself and our group joining us for the weekend. We loved the paw prints down the gorgeous stairs and the Bear images and decorations. They all made "Bear Creek Lodge" quite fitting.
We did have a problem w/ the main/giant TV in the Great room...it didn't work at all and we called and had excellent service from Tim, I think??, and it was fixed just in time for our football Sunday.
The amenities were great, especially the downstairs fancy bath and the wine fridge. The view was great to the lake and the location was convenient.
The best part of our trip was that we saw a Momma Bear and 3 cubs. What a terrific sighting.
The home was very cozy and it had many things to do as in shuffleboard, pool, hot tub and ample cooking space. The only thing we didn't care for was having to unload everything down the stairs from the front entrance.
