Stayed over New Years weekend. Had a great time, as we always do in the Deep Creek area. The cost for this unit was decent compared to others we have rented, however, we did have some issues.
First I waited in line at Railey for 30 minutes to get checked in only to be told at 3:40 pm that the house was not ready yet, and I should come back at 4pm. Had a previous appointment at 4pm, so I had to leave and return. Got to the house after dark, and was bedazzled to not find firewood. So no fire the first night. Called Railey for wood, and they said it should be at the front door. It was not. They promised to deliver wood by morning at the latest. They never did, but that was ok, because we found the woodpile the next day beside the detached garage, under the snow.
Only having 2 baths was bedazzling, plus to get from the large bedroom upstairs to the upstairs bath required you to walk through the other bedroom. Not possible at night, so, those occupants ended up using the downstairs bath also. This room became very popular.
Was also bedazzled to not see a basement, game-type room. Every house we have rented in Deep Creek has had a basement, except for this one. That being said, it was not all bad that we all were on one floor together. The kitchen island was very convenient. Great fireplace, and this was one of the few times we did not have to call someone out to fix the hot-tub.
Also, the horseshoe shaped driveway made it very convenient to maneuver vehicles in and out.

This was our second time staying at Bedazzled for some very special family time. It was beautiful last Fall to celebrate parents 60th anniversary. This year we were pleased to return for our Thanksgiving celebration. After everyone arrived safely we were all contented to just relax and enjoy being together for three days. The snow outside every window was just amazing! Kids enjoyed the hot tub. The kitchen is well equipped, island is wonderful, the table seats our entire family for dining and playing games. The newly renovated bedroom on first floor was perfect for my parents, they truly enjoyed the accomodations. Did not want to leave. Hope to return again one day.

The home was generally nice, but appeared as if it had not had an interior coat of paint in over 20 years. We stayed in the off-season and there was a musty, damp smell to the house when we arrived. It could really use some freshening up throughout. But fine for a rustic vacation. The modern kitchen was especially nice.
