I had a relaxing time in Brighton Shores. The house accommodated all of my guest. I stayed in the very same house around the same time last year. The location is perfect. We were able to visit some other friends that stayed in Ritz on the Lake and awesome View. I'm so sure we will plan another trip next year. I always enjoy my stay and the staff is very pleasant.

This is a wonderful vacation home for a large family. I loved the floor plan which allowed a lot of space for togetherness and for being apart. This weekend getaway for my family was planned at the last minute because my son-in-law was dying with terminal cancer. It was perfect for many reasons, accessibility from car to house, bedroom off main living area, moderate grade to lake. It is the last weekend that the family was together, and that my son-in-law was fully able to participate in family activities. For this reason alone, Brighton shores will have many fond memories for my family. We had a problem with a very strong noxious odor in one of the downstairs bathrooms, and the realty was very responsive to our calls. We had to move out of Bedroom, and they adjusted the rent accordingly. If I were asked to improve anything, I would say you could use a new range in kitchen. Otherwise, we were most fortunate to have found this lovely home, at such a last minute date, and will always treasure the time my family spent there. My son-in-law died three weeks after our visit.

Our Group, "The Pasadena Dreamers" has rented Brighton Shores for 9 years now. We absolutly Love this house. We recently lost a member of our group to an out of state move for work and added another couple, just so we could stay in the house again. We already have it reserved for next year.

Our extended family loved staying in Brighton Shores! The home is spacious, well appointed, clean, and beautifully situated by the Lake. The ages in our group ranged from 14 months old to 84 years old, and everyone had a great time! We love the area, and we especially enjoyed our winter hike to partially frozen Swallow Falls--just beautiful! The young adults had a great time skiiing and snowboarding at Wisp. We hope to return soon!

This house far exceeded my expectations. I rented this house as a surprise for my husband's birthday and invited both of our families for a few days of relaxation and fun. This house was perfect. Plenty of rooms and bathrooms and a beautiful, wide open floor plan. The kitchen was fully stocked...impressively so. We were pleased to find that this house was not on a steep incline or decline so we had no problem getting there with snow on the ground. I asked our group if there were any suggestions/feedback on the house and no one could think of a thing. We did have a few mix-ups with the rental company but the house more than made up for it.

We were pleasantly satisfied with the very well equipped
accomendations. The reservationst, Leiah stayed past her
regular quitting time to ensure that we selected the best
lodge for us. We made a point to meet her in person, and
she gave us more helpful information.
Best year ever.

The facility was cleaned to our best expectations. After spending many years there, the decor just improves year after year. The overall property is most desirable. Our kudos to the owners and to you. Unfortunately, we must change weeks next year. But maybe our new selection might work out!

We loved the house! It was quite roomy for a 6 bedroom house. We arrived during one of the largest snow storms, but once we got to the house we had a great time! 36" of snow pretty much kept us housebound most of the weekend. The driveway did get plowed on Sunday and the roads were amazingly clear even on Sunday afternoon. We would recommend this house to others. The bedrooms were very nice and there were an equal number of bathrooms. Kitchen meant our needs! We'd rent again if we wanted to stay in this part of Deep Creek!

We had an excellent time staying at Brighton Shores! We always use Railey for our summer excursions to the lake! It was big enough to accomodate family and friends for the week and to entertain daily those who were invited!
The private suits were a huge hit with guests and the more than ample common spaces were great for small gatherings and entertaining the entire party. The huge kitchen, double dishwashers, sinks and refridgerators were all a must! The private dock is one of the most prized features we enjoyed and require for each of our visits to the lake! We have our own swimming areas for kids and adults alike and plenty of space for the boat and jet ski! Absolutely incredible!!
This was just the cherry on top for our treasured week. We kicked the entire week off with the most wonderful wedding for Jenn and I at Willow the Wisp! We have been together for 5 years and have always came to the lake for our vacations and getaways. Deep Creek is "OUR" spot. That was the reason for the lake wedding venue!!
As always we enjoy Deep Creek Lake, all the State Parks and Railey Vacations are who we count on to provide the best lakefront accomodations we could ever ask for!!
We'll see you all again next year!

The placement on the lake is fabulous with extraordianly views. The house is just beautiful and so relaxing.
However, for the money paid, the owner needs to update the TV's with plasma/flat screens.
We are not going there anymore because our family situation has changed and we don't have as many people joining us for vacation anymore.
We went to a small place this year through Raily and will do so again this year, 2010, under "Ey" my sister's name.

For several years now we've had 3 families (kids ages 6-14) and the
grandparents spend a week there each summer. Facilities and amenities are
great for this kind of group. We rent a ski boat and a wave runner for the
week. We've also enjoyed hiking at Swallow Falls, white water rafting and rock
climbing. We all love it!
