As always, Railey Mountain Lake Vacations made our stay fun and problem free. If any issues came up (and some always do) they resolved the problem rapidly and satisfactorily. We have stayed in this home for two years now, and it accomodates our group well. A private dock, for us, is a necessity. One of the best features is the price: since this is a split/lakefront the cost is much cheaper than for lakefront properties. But we still have a private dock, and the walk across State Park Road is not a problem for us, since all of our kids are grown up now. The only real negative is that the bedroom layout is not ideal for our group, but we make it work nonetheless. All-in-all, this is a great value, as far as Deep Creek Rentals go. And personally, I wouldn't rent with anyone other than Railey. We have rented from them for years, and the level of service is outstanding.

Wonderful relaxing family vacation. Lake access with docks and beach are certainly an added value. Location, quiet and backing to the state park was relaxing.

Cherry Creek Chalet certainly does not disappoint. This cabin is simply beautiful and the perfect place to celebrate Dad's 60th birthday. We enjoyed a wonderful family getaway--all 6 of us--and had plenty of room to relax and have fun. Each large bedroom has its own floor and bathroom, so no disturbing your neighbors. And, the furniture and amenities were superior. We enjoyed a fire everyday, loved the leather furniture, and were so pleased with the comfortable beds and well-supplied kitchen. (We brought our own food, but the kitchen had all supplies to cook.)
The interior is just beautiful--from the paint to the hardware, furniture and fixtures. This is a rustic getaway in luxurious style! My idea of "roughing it"! And, it was immaculately cleaned! -

We loved the place, we loved the house,with Railey Realty we have a nice experience, they were always very helpful with everything, It was great!!! we spend a Wonderful holiday vacation, we are planning to return in 2011, but this time we would like to stay more days!!!

Nice location on a quiet road near a state park. Nice lake front area with small beach area, picnic tables and fire pit. The house itself is well decorated and comfortable; a great choice for families or a few couples for a getaway.

The house, the location, the dock, the neighbors and their dogs were all just wonderful. Other than having to call 4 times to get the a/C Corrected, it was fantastic. Tiffany at your help desk after hours was extremely nice and Garret, the Hvac from Dixon, couldn't have been better. We even called after the third time and told him to get some rest and come back in the moring. The house was fine with the windows open, but we knew when the readout panel went from call for Service to Blank, it needed some attention. We will be back.

We had such a wonderful vacation that, absolutely, not one of us wanted to go home. I've already booked Cherry Creek Chalet for next summer. The house was perfect for our family and the location on State Park Road was ideal, away from heavy traffic. I wished that we lived there.

I must first start out by saying the pictures on
the website was alright, however when we finally
arrived the house looked practically brand new and
flawless! We will surely be returning and
hopefully get the cherry creek chalet based upon
availability!
The only issue was our vacation was during a bad
snow storm and the plow truck never made it. so we
paid a local resident to remove the snow ( long
driveway which you park in the back of the
house)so that we could get out and enjoy the
slopes. This was only about 5 minutes away which
was great. With this issue Railey vacations did
make adjustments to make us happy. -

we stayed at cherry creek chalet two weekends in a row with different family members. the first weekend, my sister , her husband, my wife and i took our parents for the weekend. we spent time on the deck drinking wine and enjoying the sun. we played pool in the evening and took a bike ride. the house was beautiful.my parents have never been to deep creek, so it was a treat to see their reaction to the house and the lake. it was a great weekend. the following weekend, my wife and i took her brothers family. her brother had recently passed, and we thought the mountain would bring some peace and help forget about their loss for a little while. the three girls, ages 10, 14,and 17 really enjoyed themselves and asked if we can go back next year. they got to swim on their own private beach, we played pool and watched movies at night. we took a ride on the chair lift to the top of the mountain which was fun. all in all we had two great unforgettable weekends at cherry creek chalet. thank you
