Left on 11/02/2012 for a stay in October 2012
This was our 5th time to stay at Howard's End for a weekend in October. There are 11 of us, and 3 generations. We usually bring a couple of kayaks and bicycles. We started coming to Deep Creek 12 years ago for a Fall weekend with the family. It is something we all look forward to, and has created some lasting memories. Each year, we find something different to do, or a new area to explore. Sometimes, it is difficult to make time in everyone's busy lives to come, but the view of the lake and surrounding hills from Howard's End has a calming effect.

This is a seriously great house. Tons of room, spacious feel, smart design. Fabulous book shelves and movie selections! Really well stocked kitchen in terms of equipment. Gorgeous views from all over the house.

OWINGS MILLS, MDHouse was pretty nice, changes are required.

We had no complaints about the house. The Tv's are very old and 2 of the bedroom TV did not work. All the bedroom TV were 13" (way too small, I did not know that they still make 13". The family room had a 20" TV, also too small for a room that we spent a lot of time in. Cd player was a mini boom box with tiny speakers that would short out once in a while. We have rented from your company for the past 15 years. I would understand in we rented a small house with 2 bedrooms and accommodates 6-8 people. You should not expect a lot. This is a 6 bedroom house that sleeps 16. I expected more than 13" TV in the bedrooms. and 20 "in family room. Pleas pass along to the owners that it's time to make some upgrades to their entertainment part of this house. Wal-Mart sells 26' flat screens for $200. No complaints about the house very Dissapointed with TV and stereo. Improvements need to be made

We have been coming to Deep Creek for a Fall weekend family get together for almost 15 years. This was our third year to stay at Howards' End. It accommodates our family well, with Grandparents, families with teenagers, and single adults. We almost always find something new to see or do in Deep Creek, and have created many good memories there.

The service was good from checkin to checkout with a request for a repair completed by the afternoon. We liked the layout focusing on the view of the lake while still enjoying the what was going on inside.Location was convenient for the wide range of ages we had in our household(6mos to 89 yrs.The area carpet in the DR and LR need a good cleaning, the lower level MBR jetted tub did not work and the sleep sofa mattress was very uncomfortable for adults to sleep on.We liked the big DR table,

Left on 10/14/2009 for a stay in June 2008
We rented this house for my parents' 50 wedding anniversary. The house was a perfect fit for the 4 families that stayed there. We enjoyed docking our boats at the private dock after some good days of fishing, and the little ones had a good time swimming at the dock area and catching fish from the dock. We would complete our day around the fire near the lake. In general, we had no complaints and we intend to stay there again in the future.
