Our stay could not have been any better for a Surprise 30th Birthday weekend. The rental was spacious and clean. Several of my concerns were a clean unit and a beautiful view which we had both. I would definitely consider coming back to Deep Creek and possibly staying at this unit. We may be looking more towards January 2015 and also staying for 3 nights.

My wife and I came here for our vacation, to celebrate our 25TH anniversary. Since this was our first visit, we were a bit apprehensive. The house was spotless and fully equipped. The Railey staff was very friendly and helpful. The overall experience was outstanding. We will be back again...
Comfortable, relaxing, home away from home!

The house was very comfortable and offered a relaxing environment with plenty of room for everyone. The propperty had all the dishes and appliances to be able to live as if at home during our stay. A little disappointed to have to call for service on the fireplace as soon as we got there. However within a few hours the problem did get resolved. The accessability and location of the property was welcomed. We definately would consider renting the same property again.

This cabin had a beautiful interior that met all my expectations. It was
extremely comfortable and I felt instantly at home. Beautiful view from the
deck down to the lake. Nice outdoor yard with firepit(adequate at best) with
woods on one side. Downside was the proximity to a fairly busy road-only
relevant if bringing pets or children. Other problems were the gas fireplace
upstairs that only worked sporadically and the lack of handsoap, toilet paper
or paper towels. Now it was not apparent to me that you needed to bring your
own handsoap and paper towels. This should probably be more prominently
addressed. Overall a wonderful experience and I will definitely be visiting

Railey did a great job in responding to our needs except in two areas. I would rent from them again.
First, the trash receptacle for a house that has that many people is not large enough. It impacted us even more because former residents at the house placed loose garbage in the outside bin which was not cleaned out.
The general cleanliness of the house could have been improved upon, particularly in the areas around windows, dusting and cleaner floors. We did not report this problem because we came to realize it after being there a day.
Overall, the house is nice but defintely lived in. There are no shades or blinds on the main floor, which makes watching TV difficult during the day if the sun is out.
The location is closer to the two lane highway than you might be able to appreciate if you look at the map on google maps.
The best thing we liked about the house was that it could accomodate our sized group within our price range, because the house we really wanted was not available.
The worst thing about it was that not all the electronics were hooked up as well as they could have been to get the best utilization from them.

Pros: The house was beautiful and the location was great for us (about 1 mile from our triathlon start!) We were very happy to find a nice, dog friendly home, and we were able to bring 3 dogs with us. Loved the hot tub too!
Cons: The grill was a mess (a mouse had a nest in there and it hadn't been cleaned) and there was no fuel. The kitchen sink backed up and it took over a 1/2 day for someone to come and fix it.
The location and the house itself made up for the other things which were taken care of, and overall I would definitely recommend this property.
