This large bungalow is located on a hillside, one mile above the village of Swinton in the Scottish Borders, sleeping 8 people in 4 bedrooms. Gerrick Cottage is a large bungalow, set on a hillside next to the owner’s working arable farm, one mile above the village of Swinton in the Scottish Borders. The cottage sleeps eight people in four bedrooms - one super king-size double with en-suite bath, separate shower, basin and WC and three super king-size doubles which are zip and link, meaning they can be made up as twins if desired. The property also contains a bathroom with bath, separate shower, basin and WC, and a wet room with walk-in... shower, basin and WC. The living accommodation consists of a fitted kitchen with dining area, utility room, sitting room and large conservatory with French doors to the rear patio. Outside is ample off road parking, along with a lawned garden to the front and side with furniture and BBQ. With the amenities of Swinton just a mile away, with footpath access, and with a number of Borders towns and villages to discover within easy reach, Gerrick Cottage makes a great Borders cottage for a group of family or friends.

Winter Short Breaks (WSB) are available at many properties in the "Winter" period - subject to availability. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. Off Season Breaks (OSB) are available at many properties in parts of the "Low" and "Mid" periods - subject to availability. The price for a 3 night break is either 75% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. OSBs can be booked within a calendar month of the start date of the holiday. "Last Minute Breaks" (LMB) are available at most properties throughout the "LOW", "MID", "HIGH", "PEAK", "XMAS" and "NEW YEAR" periods. The price for a 3 night break is either 65% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. LMBs can be booked within one week of the start date of the holiday.

  I booked this cottage so I could take my family away to celebrate my 50th birthday in style, and style is exactly what we got. The property is amazing (we thought we were only renting half, it is so large) with absolutely nothing missing. The family who owned it were lovely and gave a a really warm welcome. They showed us around the house making sure we knew where everything was and how everything worked. Every room was huge with luxurious furnishings, an amazing kitchen and a conservatory with a view so lovely we could hardly bear to leave. Sitting on the farm land made it such a peacefull setting but it is only ten miles or so to Berwick, which is lovely, and Duns (lovely too). I would recommend this property to anyone and can't wait to go back with my family again.
