We decided to give this apartment a try as the hotels in Sydney were so expensive than when we last stayed there. What a good decision this was as the Beach House could not have been in a better place. The owner Joanne was so helpful from the start and she went out of the way to assist us if help was needed. She even took us into Dee Why by car to do our first supermarket shop.
We had apartment 5 which had one bedroom, kitchen and lounge area and bathroom which also housed a washer. Everything was very clean. The apartment had a beautiful view of the garden which had 4 chairs and table and a barbecue(not used).
The apartment could not have been in a better area. Manly was a 30 minute bus ride away and is such a beautiful place with gorgeous beach. Dee Why in the opposite direction was 10 minutes by bus and good for supermarket shopping at Coles and Woolworths. We went to Palm Beach which was an hours ride on the bus from Dee Why and where 'Home and away ' is filmed. We were lucky that day as filming was taking place and we were allowed to watch and take photos. We went to Cronulla which is the only beach which can be reached by train and is a beautiful place. An added bonus was that you could get free Wi Fi in the apartment which was very useful.
When it was our final day at Curl Curl, we were quite sad to leave'. We would have no hesitation whatsoever in recommending the Beach House to stay. -

We really enjoyed staying here. We have a two year old and the house was perfect, with a safety gate for the stairs, anti slip mat for the bath, toys and beach stuff all provided. Clean and safe. Brilliant view, with playground and beach right across the road. Quiet cul de sac with a regular bus service to Manley and Dee Why Beach five minutes walk away. We highly recommend this as a place to stay for a family get away. The owners are right next door, super friendly and went out of their way to make sure we were settled in and had everything we needed. A great holiday at a very reasonable price. Thanks!

We stayed at the 56 Robertson drive, North Curl Curl apartment. We spent 7 days there.
Honest and friendly the owners were. They let us relax from our trip for a few days before I initiated a conversation about the money they owe me.They helped me carry my luggage inside as well which I appreciated.
The place was amazing. It is situated high near the beach with a relaxing view of the beach nearby. The facility was spacious. My family enjoyed the two TVs and the channels. There were clean curtains, covers and towels. The kitchen was clean and tidy which was important when you have a newborn with you which we did. It was very easy to find a parking space upstairs. There were nearby shops and malls.
When comparing the convenience and the fare of 3 adults and a newborn staying at a hotel Vs. at this apartment... I tell you this is the place to be.
The price was very attractive -

We have just spent Christmas and New Year visiting family in North Curl Curl and stayed in the Beach House on Surf Road. Joanna and John made us feel so welcome and couldn't do enough to help. My children, 10 & 13, loved the freedom of Curl Curl, the beach, lagoon and park all minutes away. Waking up to the beautiful view everyday was wonderful. Sydney is an easy bus and ferry trip away. North Curl Curl beach is one of the best in the area. We made use of the free zoo passes ( saving a fortune) and appreciated all the little touches that made our stay perfect. We even had an unexpected visit from Father Christmas. We will definitely be back.

If you want easy access to the big city but a beautiful quiet beach across the street Joanna's is the place for you. 20 min. by bus to Manly, and the 30 min. ferry ride to Sydney makes exploring easy. The big plus is the family friendly and little used beach a 5 min. walk away.
The apartment is well equipped and the owner extremely helpful in all ways.
We stayed two weeks and returned a month later for another week. The best of both worlds, a quiet northern beach and less than hour to Sydney on the beautiful Manly ferry. -

We couldn't have stayed anywhere better on our arrival when emigrating to Sydney. Curl Curl is beautiful, unspoilt and very safe, the beach house is a short walk to the lovely North Curl Curl Beach. The accomodation has everything you need for a short stay and if there is anything additional you require Joanna and her husband are always happy to try and accomodate you. They were fantastic with our 3yr old son who was missing his friends and his toys. Joanna appeared regularly with various toys, books, Dvds to keep him occupied and then there were her grandchildren to play with too. She was a wealth of local knowledge and great helping us to find our feet. We stayed in two different apartments both very comfortable and with everything you could need. Tessa was also fantastic, happy to help and provide anything extra that we needed. We can't say enough good things about the accomodation, location and the sisters who took such good care of us. A great welcome for us and start to our new life in Oz.

On arrival - no worries. We were welcomed by Joanna and left to settle in without any hassle. The accomodation was spacious and very comfortable with ample facilities for us to prepare any food we required and there was even a well stocked larder for any essentials we might not have been able to bring with us from the UK.
The location was superb and within very easy reach of the beach and a very welcome Coffee Bar which we had been introduced to on a previous visit to Curl Curl.

We stayed with Joanna and Johny as we made our emigration move into the Sydney area. We were a young family thn with a 2 and 4 year old. As you can imagine confronting the challenge of trying to set up life (house, schools, nursery, maternity hospital - number three was on the way...) in a new town from scratch was not easy. Not only was Joanna & Johny's place perfect for our kids (safe, clean, well maintained comfortable accomodation with safe garden, playpark, beach all steps away)but Joanna and Johny were there for us too. They are truly great people, very flexible, helpful, knowledgeable and fun - our kids know Johny as "the toymaster", always there with games, toys, ideas and fun for the kids. If you are looking for a great place on the Northern beaches to relax with your kids or if you are emigrating like us then you should seriously consider staying with Joanna and Johny. Having scouted around the Northern beaches house hunting I can tell you you'll find it difficult to find a nicer spot than theirs and you won't find nicer people.

My parents and sister really enjoyed staying at this lovely beach side apartment. The apartment has views of the ocean and is literally a quick stroll to the beach.
The apartment is extremely well maintained and is very comfortable, with all your home comforts.
I would highly recommend staying here. -

My family and I had the most fantastic time in
North Curl Curl - it really is a beautifully
unspoilt location just moments to the beach.
For children (ours are 1 and 3) is was perfect -
morning walk across the road to the playground,
back for lunch on the deck over looking the sea,
then an afternoon on the beach and of course back
to the deck for our relaxing glass of wine and
barbeque!
But I think the icing on the cake was the fact that
everything for children had been thought of -
highchairs, beds and bedding, toys and puzzles, and
no request was not fulfilled.

What more could you ask for... sitting on the balcony looking out at the beach across the road whilst sipping your beverage as the BBQ sizzles in the background! The beach house is conveniently located with cafes, restaurants, bottle shop and bus stop all in easy walking distance. Very friendly hosts who made us feel welcome and right at home... Thank you Joanna for the personal touch of leaving us breakfast goodies knowing we were arriving on a late night flight and even a big bowl of mixed fruits for our stay! The bonus free passes to Toronga Zoo were much appreciated by our little family of 3!!
