Washington, D.C.Great alternative to luxury hotels
Left on 03/07/2013 for a stay in February 2013
Would recommend this apartment to singles or couples who really like each other. Nicely laid out and great use of space, just steps to bars and restaurants on Stanley and a short walk to Oxford St., Kings Cross and CBD. Walk to everywhere and come home to a quiet neighborhood.

LondonA good centrally located studio flat
Left on 03/07/2013 for a stay in February 2013
Tha appartment was well equipped and clean. It could do with more local info in the flat, such as restaurants, local transport etc. the appartment overlooked a brick wall,so no view at all,and the shower room was small,so the door had to be left open to air it. Centrally located for Darlinghurst,a good 10 mins walk from Kings Cross.

Yuzhno-SakhalinskExcellent stay for sightseeing if got discount
Left on 02/02/2013 for a stay in January 2013
Rated 5 for value because had great discount (60+%).
Apartment is completely stuffed: kitchen with full utensil set, laundry (with dryer). There is very very very strict policy for noise, no party or loud music allowed.
Everything is clean but there were cockroaches. Double check with land lord that they poisoned them again before your arrival.
Easiest check-in and check-out process I ever experienced. Pay via internet then just get the keys in apartment post box, and leave them inside when departure.
Location is excellent. In the city center, 3 minutes from Hide Park. Small grocery shop is near but you will need to walk to 10-15 minutes to big shop.
No contact with land lord, however they can react for your requests on next day.

caloundraFantastic Location
Left on 01/09/2013 for a stay in December 2012
The only taxi we caught during our five day stay at Darlinghurst Espresso apartments was to Bondi - the rest of our time we walked to dinner, shopping, to Centrepoint Tower, Kings Cross and the Opera House. The location was fantastic, close to Oxford st where there are many places have a meal, get groceries, shop, or have a drink.
The room was clean, modern, funky and tidy, and had everything that one could ask for on holiday - and very Comfortable! The couch, dining chairs, bed, were all very nice to relax on.
The only downfalls were the fact that you can't make the room dark, the light from the neighbouring apartment shines through the balcony/lounge room glass and there is no curtain on that window, and the bed has frosted glass petitions to separate it from the rest of the apartment - so unless the neighbours go to bed early the room is quite bright at night. Sunlight also seeps in from around the balcony/lounge room blinds and through the glass adjoining the apartments, and there is a window in the hall that also does not have a covering - we used a bath towel but it wasnt quite big enough. This was only a problem because we had a late night over Christmas and wanted to have a sleep in.
The bed is super comfortable, one of the best we've had whilst staying in hotels, but it is only a queen, and it's on wheels, so it likes to move across the bedroom.
There aren't enough towel rails to hang the towels to dry, & the bathroom stays quite damp after a steamy shower because there seemed to be no exhaust fan working at the time of our stay. Leaving the bathroom door open stops access to some of the cupboards where you would store your clothes etc whilst staying there.
The light switches are located in the hallway, there are no switches near the bed, so if reading before sleep you need to get up out of bed to turn the overhead reading lights off.
All in all, we loved it here, these minor things did not stop us from thoroughly enjoying our stay, and we will stay again.
