Description from the owner
Quinton House is a Bed and Breakfast close to Manly and the beautiful Manly Beach and Sydney Harbour. Accomodation is a garden suite with a private entrance off leafy courtyard into a sunroom with TV, bar fridge, microwave oven.
Main bedroom has queen size bed and a bathroom ajoining.
A ferry leaves Manly every 30mins taking you to the CBD of Sydney Passing the famous Opera House and The Harbour Bridge.
Beautiful walks are a feature of Manly and of course great surfing conditions.
There are many golf courses in the area.
Manly also has many resturants open from 7am till midnight or later, so breakfast overlookin...Read more

In a lovely quiet back street with own garden area to sit out. Walking distance of Manley beach & ferry although the route is a steep hill. The "kitchen" was really not adequate - no proper surface to prepare food, fridge a bit grubby & frosted up. All the fixtures & furniture were a bit shabby - shame as this place would be gorgeous given a little more TLC and some new furniture. The owner was very friendly and amenable.

We found putting the bed settee up every night a pain and the fact that we couldn't cook anything as there was no stove only a microwave and the lady of the house asked us not to wash up any crockery in the sink in the bathroom as it might crack the sink a bit of a problem. We did think that a self catering property would have at least a work top, sink and cooker but none of these were at this property. I feel this is ok for a couple who enjoy eating out and just like cereals for breakfast but not very good with children. The Free bus was a bonus as it stopped outside the door and ran every 20 mins. Bedroom was lovely and very quite I would recommend this as a convenient location. Lee herself made us very welcome and the children loved her little dog. Wish we could have stayed longer she even offered to run us to the ferry which was a very nice thought. Will always think of Quinton Lodge with fond memories.

We stayed overnight for a birthday in manly and on arrival it was nice to have a place to sleep for the night. It was a reasonable place to stay,though it had a old carpet smell that filled the room which we had to open windows to air it out and it then smelt better. I wasnt happy with the toilet as it had only had a toilet cleaner put inside but was not cleaned,was dirty all under the seat and I had to clean it myself before id use it,so that wasnt to pleasant-I even cleaned the shower as it had a lil dirt inside. Another thing that annoyed my hubby and I was the bed slats kept coming out which made our night a lil annoying-they needed better support especially for people who may be a lil bigger than an average person... But other than that it was a nice quiet area and was comfortable for the two of us... The host Lee was a lovely lady also as she let us check out at whatever time we wanted to which was nice...
