Self-contained two bedroom terrace house in Glebe only 1.5km south of the Sydney city CBD and close to amenities, all transport and Sydney University.

Located in Wigram Road, Glebe (Forrest Lodge), the property features two queen bedrooms, a TV/entertainment room with a pull out double sofa bed, modern kitchen and bathroom, as well as a small backyard. Guests will find a brand new kitchen with gas stove and electric oven, microwave and dishwasher. Everything is provided for your holiday entertainment or business trip with high-speed Wi-Fi.

Additional Location Information

Glebe Point Road runs off Broadway (George Street), which is the main street that runs through the centre of Sydney city.
The property is located 1.5km south of the Sydney city CBD, 1km south of Darling Harbour and Chinatown, 500 metres north of The University of Sydney, and 7km north-west of Sydney Airport. A taxi from the airport is approximately $30 The airport train also operates a service to Central Railway, which is very close. See Central below.
Driving from the airport- Will take approximately 20 minutes. Follow the City signs then turn left on Cleveland Street, right onto City Road, immediately left on Broadway and immediately right on Glebe Point Road, left on Wigram Road. Pass 1 set of lights and then the property is on the right hand-side of the street.
Driving from the north- Follow the 'Bridge' signs and take the Harbour Bridge. Do not take the tunnel. Around the middle of the bridge you will see the 'City Western Suburbs' signs to follow. Towards the end of the bridge, and approaching the toll booths, you should be in the lanes that direct you towards freeway 4 and 5. After exiting the tollbooths follow the 'Anzac Bridge' signs. Then take the 'Parramatta, Liverpool, Fish Market' exit. Thereafter follow the Glebe signs and take the Glebe turnoff. After turning off at the Glebe turn-off you will be on Pyrmont Bridge Road. Continue to the second traffic lights and turn right on Glebe Point Road. Take the second on the left into Wigram Road, pass 1 set of lights and then the property is on the right hand side of the street.
Public Transport from City/Darling Harbour- A taxi is approximately $10-$15. The Tram/Light Rail service departs Central Railway, then Capital Theatre, then Entertainment Centre, then Darling Harbour, then Star City, then Fish Markets, then Glebe. Buses 431, 433 or 434 travel directly to and from Glebe, through the centre of the city along George Street.
Driving from the city - Take either Bridge Road from Pyrmont or George Street/Broadway from the city and in both cases turn right onto Glebe Point Road and drive 300 metres from Bridge Road and 1km from Broadway along Glebe Point Road until you get to the Wigram road, pass 1 set of lights and then the property is on the right hand side of the street.
Transport from Central Railway - We would suggest a taxi which should be approximately $10 or the Light Rail/Tram which departs every 10 minutes from just outside the country trains concourse or buses 431, 433 or 434 from Railway Square right to Wigram Road .Ask the bus driver to drop you at the corner of Glebe Point Road and Wigram Road or if you are on 433 or 434 get off just after the traffic lights on Corner of Wigram Rd and Minogue Crescent.

  On our trips to Sydney we usually stay in Surry Hills or Darlinghurst. This time we opted for a change of scenery - and we're very happy we did! The renovated and modernised mid-terrace house is spacious and comfortable, with a well appointed kitchen and added touches of games, a well-stocked library and tourist information guides. Manager Nick greeted us on arrival and ensured that we had everything necessary for our comfort and convenience.
  At either end of the street and within easy walking distance are the local shopping strips with abundant choice of restaurants, shops and a selection of cafes for the morning heart-starter caffeine hit. The area is well served by buses to the city, Rozelle and Coogee - the thirty-minute trip to Circular Quay gives good opportunity to take in the local area.Not having a car proved to be no problem at all.
  Another highlight for us was the proximity (an easy and pleasant thirty minute stroll through the suburbs) to the Sydney Fish Market, to indulge in ultra-fresh seafood and great views.
  Our recent five-day stay in Glebe has been sufficient to convert us to the inner west. We are already planning our return trip and are telling friends about this little gem!
