Spacious, immaculate, air-conditioned condominium located directly on the Mediterranean Sea with spectacular water views. The ancient city of Ortigia is walking distance away. The city is filled with history, fountains, open markets, cathedrals and marinas. The property has its own private swimming area.
Condo has fabulous antique furnishing and is filled with original works of art. Floor to ceiling french doors lead out to the wrap around balcony over the water, where you can enjoy your glass of wine as the sun glistens over the water.

We spent 6 nights at Stella Sur Mare in October of 2012, after extending our stay an extra night because we enjoyed the apartment so much. The apartment is very large and has all the amenities you could ask for, including great WiFi as well as a view that is unsurpassed. It is a walk of approx 20 min to Ortygia and a short walk to a great restaurant recommended by the host, Antonio who was very helpful. Completely unique place to stay, very tastefully adorned with the art of the owner in most rooms, right next to the sea, very spacious first floor apartment with about 25 metres of balcony on 2 sides. Secure off street parking, you really need a hire car in Sicily to get around, but you can walk to Ortigia [15 mins] and the museum [10 mins] and most of the archaeological sites are also close. Andrea gave helpful advice on supermarkets and beaches nearby. A great place to relax and feel at home.

Thank you Giulia for your wonderful hospitality and warm welcoming to your beautiful Stella Sul Mare condo. It was a lot more than we expected. We call it a home away from home. It is decorated with beautiful paintings and lovely furniture and everything needed while on vacation. The condo is supplied with all the comforts of home and more. It is located right on the ocean and is so beautiful and relaxing to enjoy while drinking your morning coffee and/or sipping on a glass of wine on the balcony while watching the the cruise ships and small boats passing by. The sunrise was outstanding, too beautiful for words. One afternoon there were some sprinkles of rain which showed off a beautiful double rainbow --it was awesome!!! There are so many wonderful towns to visit from this location and lots of wonderful restaurants locally also. This was the last part of our trip to Sicily and we were glad we saved the the best for last. We started out in Palermo (2 nights), next Trapani (2 nights), then a farm stay in Gela area (3 nights), and last but not least Siricusa Condo Stella Sul Mare which was the best (5 nights). We hope to someday bring our family to enjoy all of Sicily and all the comforts of home at the Condo Stella Sul Mare. Saluti e arrivederci, Joe and Nancy

We arrived with a warm welcome from the Landlady who was charming and extreemly helpful throughout our stay. The apartment is beautiful, very attractively furnished with the most amazing art work. Very well equipped and extremely comfortable in every way particularly the beds, pillows and lovely linen. There is airconditioning in the kitchen and main bedroom, fans in every room. It remains cool, as doors lead out from each room and bedroom onto to the surrounding varandah which has sea views all around. The situation was very good, a 15min walk to Ortiga, the old city and to the main streets. Secure parking off the street. You are able to swim in the sea right in front of the apartment building, no beach. My husband and our two daughters had a wonderful weeks stay in Stella Sul Mare, which we highly recommend.

We spent a laid back week at Stella Sul Mare, enjoying the windswept panorama and taking swimming breaks on the rocky beach below. With a view of ancient Ortigia from its living room and balconies, the condo has a lovely and spacious interior with all the comforts of home. And because we were not down congested alleyways in the old city, we were able to jump in our car and easily drive out to the charming cities of Noto, Raguza and other spots in the Sicilian countryside. Liked the view best, the skinny balconies least. Guilia, the owner, is a delight.

We had a wonderful holiday in Sicily and really enjoyed our week at Stella Sul Mar. Oritgia is a short 10 or 15 min walk away but how lovely it was to return to the apartment in the evenings and enjoy the views - a comfortable and spacious apartment. We didn't need to visit the beach as we swam in the sea just below the aprtment although Giula may have thought us a bit mad as it was only May - we're Scottish though so we're made from Irn Bru!

My partner and I stayed here in april 2012. The experience was great. The apartment was exactly as described on line -- very clean, quiet and with parking! It was convenient for visiting all the sights in Syracuse -- Ortigia was within walking distance (approx. 10-15 minutes). There were restaurants within walking distance. The shower was a little tight, but you get used to it. Guilia was incredibly helpful and went out of her way to make sure we were having a good time. Maps were provided along with other tourist information. She had stacked the apartment with "extras". It was super that there was a computer on site for our use. Best of all though was to wake up with sunlight pouring into the room and the sound of the sea gently washing against the shore beneath your window. If we are ever in Syracuse again we will be staying here.
