The ancient Berber village of Taghazout is just twenty kilometres from the bustling town
of Agadir. Quaint streets lead down to its secret sandy bay with rocks on either side.
The perfect location for families with children, surfing enthusiasts or simply those wishing to get away from it all. With the mountains rising behind there are also fabulous walks to be had, bird watching and the sight of countless wild-flowers and rock formations scattered with fossils. At just three hours from major European cities this is a world apart. With its fabulous climate you can bask in the sea all the year round. It is also in the perfect position for day visits to Marrakesh, Taroudant, Essaouira or further to the dunes of the Sahara and beyond. The enthusiastic photographer will be overwhelmed with the marvels of this extraordinary country and its gentle, hospitable people.

  Really recommend these apartments - we stayed in the 3rd floor one with the balcony, but also had a look at end of our stay at the 2nd floor which was equally lovely with an amazing floor to ceiling panorama of the sea in both - you;re right on the front, yet tucked away at the end of the village. Mohammed is charming and helpful and can pick you up from the airport, sort car hire, take you to the local hammam etc if you wish. All the kitchen utensils etc supplied you could possibly need if you don't want to eat out all the time. Moroccan in character and colours, spotless (the cleaner was lovely) good showers, and always always the sea to listen to and look at. The guy immediately below on the front has a great little cafe. Thankyou for such a tranquil, happy stay.

  Mit Liebe und Stil eingerichtete, gemütliche Ferienwohnung,die durch den fantastischen unverbauten Blick direkt aufs Meer an Größe und Weite gewinnt. Nebelschwaden am Morgen lösten sich mittags auf und gewährten einen wunderbaren Blick aufs Meer, die heimkehrenden Fischerboote und das bunte Treiben am Strand von Taghazout. Nachts war das Rauschen des Meeres zu hören, wenn das nächtliche sommerliche Treiben auf den Straßen zur Ruhe kam. Insgesamt sehr sauber und mit einer für alles Notwendige ausgerüsteten Küche kann man sehr gut selbst kochen. Lebensmittel sind vor Ort direkt um die Ecke gut einzukaufen, wenn man nicht in den Supermarkt nach agadir fahren will. Über die Qualität der Restaurants vor Ort sollte man sich besser vorher informieren. Sehr hilfreiche und einfühlsame Unterstützung bekamen wir durch Mohamed in allen Fragen (Abholservice, Autovermietung,Essen, Kultur etc.), wodurch auch dem unerfahrenen Mitteleuropäer der Einstieg in die fremde Kultur sehr erleichtert wurde. Englisch- oder Französischkenntisse sind hilfreich zur Verständigung mit den sehr freundlichen Menschen vor Ort. Für uns ein sehr erlebnisreicher Urlaub, in dem wir nach unseren ausflügen immer wieder sehr gern in die Wohnung als angenehmen Rückzugsort heimgekehrt sind.
