  While the over-all experience was a good one, we had a little problem moving in on the first night because the day shift at the guard shack hadn't given the night shift our move-in clearance. We (my mother and I) found the beds to be extremely difficult to sleep on since they were only a thin foam mattress. However, David did his best to take care of us and had his staff bring better mattresses over the next morning. If you're staying more than 21 days, watch your electricity usage. I was prepared, though. I ended up paying an additional 8,000 pesos for utility bills.

  Average electric usage is between PHP 100 - PHP 600 per day depending how much air con is used. Air con units are expensive to run in the Philippines because of high energy costs which explains why hotels are so expensive here. Your electric bill can be halved by using electric fans instead of air con which are provided and a lot cheaper to run. In this particular example the the final cost for a 21 night stay was 33,500 including cable tv, internet connection, water usage, electric usage, taxes and association dues. For a two bedroom apartment with two queen size beds facing the amenities that works out at PHP 1,600 per day which compares very favorably with other accommodation in Manila.
