The unit was clean, comfortable, and well-appointed. The condo complex (Chinquapin) is just outside of Tahoe City, and seems particularly peaceful because it is located away from the main road. The unit had a beautiful lake view through the pines. A perfect place for 2.

I decided to take a chance on a condo in the Northshore area of Lake Tahoe with my wife on a special occasion. What a pleasant surprise! Not only was the condo nestled in a great secure community, but the view from the deck was outstanding. I didn't think that you could find a place with such a view on the rental market for such a reasonable price. This will remain as one of my favorite getaways and will be on my list for annual events.

Had very relaxing time at Mr & Mrs. Macquarrie's place in North Lake Tahoe. The place was very clean and user friendly with a breath-taking view of Lake Tahoe!

We have stayed at this place on several occasions and will no doubt stay there again next year. The view is just lovely and the condo is inviting and always clean. The resort itself offers tennis courts, sauna, beaches, a swimming pool, pier and lots of hiking trails right along the Lake. We also like that it has such a convenient location to Tahoe City in case we want to eat out, shop or do the grocery store. Last visit we took advantage of the bike trails along the Truckee River.

The home met all of our needs. It was wonderful to wake up to the beautiful view of the lake every morning and to have a deck to relax. The accommodations were first class and immaculate. It is located close to great restaurants and grocery stores. Everything was perfect for us!
