My wife, three kids, and mother found this place quite nice, taking full advantage of the four bedrooms and three bathrooms. We especially enjoyed sitting out on the balcony next to the huge tree by the house, as the cool of the evening would descend under a clear sky, punctuated by the sound of TAPS coming from the Coast Guard Station next door. The unit was quite clean, and offered a wide variety of kitchen utensils, furnishings, and even some basic supplies. It is located in a very nice neighborhood, with a short walk down to the lake. There were a few downsides, of course, which we identified to management. The supporting slats under one of the twin beds came apart one night, and we ended up propping up with a paint can (we opted to have management effect more permanent repairs after our stay). The screen door to the balcony easily came off its runners, and didn't really fit well. The blinds to the balcony fell off and crashed to the floor one night, and another set looked ready to come off. The dishwasher was of odd configuration, making it hard to properly load the dishwasher without it interfering with the operation. The ceiling fan was a bit noisy, and too close for comfort to our tall heads. :-) And of course, the kids would have liked WiFi; TV and VCR were OK. Overall, though, these were fairly mild annoyances. For less than the price of two hotel rooms, we each (other than my two daughters) got our own room, and kids, parents, and grandmother each got their own separate bathroom. The pool and tennis court area looked nice, although we really didn't use it much. All in all, a nice base of operations to explore the beautiful region around Lake Tahoe.

Although we enjoyed our stay, the condo was not very comfortable. We knew there would not be air conditioning, however 1 ceiling fan in a house that gets direct afternoon sun at nearly 90o everyday, is not adequate. Also the beat up couch in the living room was so uncomfortable and embarrassing to have guests sit in. It sags and the recliner was very hard to maneuver. Lastly, one of the twin bed mattresses was half on the floor because the slats from the frame were just laying under the bed. Luckily we didn't need the extra bed. The other disappointment was the pool/jacuzzi. We thought the complex was more family friendly. No kids under 14 in the jacuzzi...ever? and kids under 14 not in the pool after 6pm? Harsh . Finally, just remembered this. The bathroom rug in the downstairs master was disgusting. Very old, stained dirty looking and I'm sure not even close to its original color. They are $8 in Target. For the 2 pages of rules expected of the renter, I expected more from your end.
Complex nice but unit needed some TLC

Unit has plenty of space but needed some upgrading. The couch is very worn out. One of the twin beds kept falling from the slats. The screen door to the balcony kept falling off and one of the side rails wasn't attached. It needed a good spring cleaning.
