This condo was fabulous. I almost want to give it a bad review so noone will find out about this gem.
The complex that it is part of is nothing to write home about, but the condo is in excellent condition. It is decorated comfortably. We had 7 people and had plenty of space and beds for everyone. Great updated kitchen. Actually, better than my own at home. There is a definite bear theme going on. In fact, there are so many bears we decided to have a contest: "How many bears are there?" This little contest occupied the kids for quite some time and they all received a prize at the end or our stay.

Very luxurious house; fantastic kitchen (I love to cook); great location only a short drive from alpine and Squaw. Quiet, off the main drag. Beds were comfortable; the bunk beds in the kids' room are fun for children. Would definitely stay there again. Oh yes, they have the most amazing mural on the wall of the staircase; someone really loves this unit.
A comment on the rental agency (Coldwell Lake Tahoe) --- I had originally booked a smaller unit, with Internet access as I had planned to do some work. But there was no internet to be found upon arrival! Turns out the owner had canceled it without telling the rental agency. The folks at the agency were extremely friendly and very apologetic, and they promptly re-booked me into this much larger and nicer unit (#126, and yes, with functioning internet) at no extra charge. This was exceedingly generous of them, and provides a stark contrast with other agencies I have dealt with in the past. I will book my next Tahoe stay through them, no question!

We stayed 3 nights. Really liked the decor and furniture was comfortable and functional. Kitchen was especially nice (although a few items were ready for replacement or dirty.) Plenty of linens and towels, and water pressure was great. I could think of a few items which would have been helpful for us being new to the area, but overall we had a great time, we were very comfortable, and would definately stay here again. We did not take the time to see the rest of the complex, so I can't comment on the spa, etc.

We enjoyed the condo we rented- everything was immaculate and so well appointed. There wasn't anything we needed and couldn't find. The owners put a lot of thought into their remodel and obviously care a great deal about their home and the comfort of the folks who rent it.

This was our second "ski week" at Lake Forest Glen and first time in this unit. It was perfect for 2 families with elementary school aged kids. The unit is modern, updated, and clean. It was very comfortable to lounge around and watch the Olympics (even in the kitchen) after a day of skiing. The home and decor were very cozy and inviting too.

This unit is unbelievable - so much care has been taken from the owners to make it an enjoyable place to stay. It is decorated with bears throughout and has such a cozy feeling. Everything is spotless clean - great complex as well with pool, etc. We can't imagine staying anywhere else - it was our second annual family trip to Lake Tahoe and both times we stayed there and already have reservations for next year. Highly recommend this unit - you will be very pleased!

We were looking for a condo to stay at near Tahoe City. After looking at tons of pictures on the web this unit stuck out. It looked newly remodeled.
We were thrilled with our stay. The condo was as nice as the pictures and we were close to Tahoe city as well as many ski places. We had a very good time. -

Really clean, extremely comfortable unit. The beds were like new and the linens were as nice as I have at home. Our family of 5 (3 teenagers) never felt crowded and the kids loved having tv's everywhere. The kitchen has everything you need for cooking, including quality cookware. We would happily stay here again.

All we can say is WOW!!! Better than the pictures, Kitchen was top end had everything we need for the Thanksgiving dinner, and we could watched the cooking channel while cooking, on the TV in the kitchen. Never ran out of hot water and the sound system is super! Very clean and comfortable beds. How many bears are in this place??

Our family of seven has been staying in this condo for our Tahoe vacations for years, and it never disappoints, in fact, it keeps getting better and better! The highlights for us are the plasma TV, comfortable furniture, and amazing kitchen/dining area. We love the maps and historical photos on the walls- really adds to the whole experience of Lake Tahoe. The owners seem to have thought of every detail of what you need in a vacation home. Easy walk to the pool and to the beach. This is a gorgeous place to stay- we love it.
