Step back in time as you enter this charming "Old Tahoe" style cabin on Lake Tahoe's West Shore. The main house of this Tahoe vacation rental features 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and large living area with knotty pine interior and original stone fireplace with a woodstove insert for efficiency. The newer add-on dining room features slate floors, knotty pine walls and a gas stove and offers extra gathering space as well as a large dining table to seat the entire group. When we dropped off the keys, we detailed our disappointment with the cabin we rented. Citing the dirty sheets on one bed, no sheets on the other bed, the dirty sink and tub, the dead mouse in the living room, the lack of promised WiFi etc.
To date we have not heard from anyone as to what type of action will be taken on our behalf -

Adequate space for 6 - 8 guests. Cleanliness for the place was below average with dog / cat hair on the carpets and rugs. Adequately stocked. One bathroom is good while the other one is too small and cramped to use. Bedding and bedroom furniture needs replacement. Living space, Kitchen and dining space is great. Remember to carry chains if you are using 2WD.

We have rented the Keyser cabin every year since 1995 for our family reunion. Our children have grown up looking forward to this gathering of cousins aunts and uncles and we hope we will be able to stay there at the end of July/early august every year in the future.
