We had a mix-up with our reservation which the company rectified with an upgrade to this home. It's beautiful and very spacious, great living room and game room downstairs. So wonderful to relax in the hot tub with amazing view and so many shooting stars. Things to note: there are 3.5 bathrooms but only master has a (deep jacuzzi) tub. The master bedroom is big and the remaining 4 are on the smaller side, big enough for pack 'n plays for our kids but no more. The bedroom by game room probably wouldn't fit pack 'n play. Plenty of hot water and the house was very warm between the heated floors and wood fireplace in the living room. Bring things like aluminum foil, plastic wrap, ziplock bags as the kitchen didn't have any of those items. For kids the house had a bunch of toys and even a little train table (no tracks), rocking horse and chalk board.

This home is beautiful, well appointed, comfortable for large group. View is amazing in all directions! I recommend it highly. Staff at the rental company was professional and accommodating. We loved it so much that we have reserved it again for next year!
There are lots of stairs, as the house is three levels. For this reason, I did not recommend it for people with disabilities or for those whom stairs might pose a challenge.

We rented the house for a week with our family and thoroughly enjoyed our experience in the house. The location was excellent...especially the hot tub overlooking the lake. Only two downsides...very narrow stairs and lack of a television on the main floor.

Our stay was the week prior to Presidents' Day. I had narrowed it down to two properties and was having a hard time making up my mind. Cynthia said that this was the best of the two and I am so glad I listened to her advise. This multi level home was very spacious . Every room in the house has incredible views of the lake. We have an extremely comfortable bed at home that makes us regret traveling. The master bed was very comfortable with nice linens. We found the home nicely stocked with kitchen tools that made it nice as we ate in most nights. If I were to list any negative comments they would be really petty. You can tell that the owners spend a lot of time in this home as it feels like that, a "home". Some rental properties no matter how much they charge feel just like that - a rental. Not this place.
Cynthia and the team made the whole process very comfortable. With so many options in their portfolio it really is useful to ask their opinion. Also, the check in process was seamless. We were a little late getting up to Tahoe but they waited around for us to go through everything in person.
I look forward to using them again for my future visits to the area.

Tahoe Getaways was wonderful in every way. The kept close communication with me and helped answer any questions I had.
The home was the best home we have stayed in. We even had extra room! From the deoor to the outstanding view, it was perfect in every way. I am ready to book this place for next year.
This was our first stay on the West side of Tahoe and we loved it. We loved having the rentals so close (we rented jetskis and paddle boards). We loved the clean and friends staff at the HOV site. They were so helpful and kind. The site was pretty and clean!
The only thing we would have enjoyed more would have been a swimming pool and tennis courts. I hope the family wants to return. Thank you.
Outstanding family vacation with proximity to lots of activities

This is a very comfortable, clean, nearly new and spacious home that can accommodate a large family and friends. The deck and views of the lake are unparalleled. Great access to the lake through the Tahoe homeowners park/beach and close to the bike path, Sunnyside, etc.

The service from Tahoe Getaways couldn't have been better, and the home was both grand and cozy. We loved the way it was situated to have views wherever you turned (even from the master shower). The kitchen was extremely well equipped, even for a family of 12. It became a game to say:"I bet there isn't a...(whatever you could think of). But there always was! From salad spinners to french press coffee makers, and everything in between. It wasn't far to the Savmart grocery store, but best of all: The proximity of the Tahoe House bakery!!! There was no good or bad, we loved it all!

We very much enjoyed the large living/dining room area, where we all could gather comfortably for meals and the New Years celebration. The fact that this area did not have a TV was a plus, in that more emphasis was placed on enjoying the beautiful Lake Tahoe view from this room. The lower level familly room area, with the pool table and TV, was also used a lot. The surrounding quite nieghborhood was great for walks.
The only draw back on this property is the number of stairs in between the many levels.

The house is beautiful but these are suggestions for a more pleasant experience: 1. Guest bathrooms need door locks. 2. Due to the unseasonably warm weather the house was always too hot and the thermostats could not be adjusted. 3. Not enough towels for guests. 4.Owners personal items, i.e. shoes, clothes, etc. left in master closet. 5. Fire wood had to be gathered and carried up steep hill. 6. Carpet is showing wear. 7. No Tv's in most guest rooms.

This house really became our "home" for a week. We had a group join for a 50th birthday celebration. We came from 4 cities to have a relaxing week of laughter, cooking, and skiing. The weather was great but the house made the trip. There was ample space for all to gather on the main floor and a variety of rooms offering everything that our group needed. Some had business to do and the set up worked perfectly. For those who just wanted to relax, the hot tub, music system, Tv's and pool table offered many options. The kitchen was fantastic for apres ski and large dinners. The view offered up a photographers paradise and the sunrises over the water were captured many times.
The management group was very helpful through the entire process. We were told that the house was "well appointed" and it did not dissappoint. It was spotless and well maintained. I would recommend highly and hope to make a return trip-same friends, same house.
I moved to California from Illinois 8 years ago. I left behind a number of dear friends who all agreed to join me in Tahoe for my 40th birthday. (They told me that, had I moved to Cleveland, they probably wouldn't have made the trip.) We agreed that, since they were making the trip, we would get the most spectacular place we could find. And we did. We were all amazed as to how beautiful the home and view were and could not have been more pleased. Thank you so much for sharing it with us!
Phenominal home, outrageous view, can't wait to go back.

This was an absolutely stellar experience. The home was everything we hoped it would be based on the photos on the website. The appointments are wonderful, we especially enjoyed each and every piece of art around the home. We felt as though the owners took a page out of our "personal preference" book and decorated for us. It felt so "at home "and comfortable. We were celebrating my husband's 65th birthday and were there with our children and grandchildren. We never really left, except for a grocery shopping trip...the house had everything we needed. We had planned a trip down the hill to Sunnyside, but we just preferred staying at the house. Loved the hot tub, laundry room facilities and game room. The bedrooms and bathrooms had lovely linens and furniture throughout. How can you explain that view...no picture does it credit. We've been going to the Lake for 40 years and this is without a doubt the most beautiful view of the Lake we've ever seen. One of our children suggested we make this an annual event if Clearview remains a rental property. The staff at Tahoe Getaways was unfailingly helpful and efficient. They made it all so easy for us. Many thanks to all of them. It would have been helpful to know when packing that there were towels for the hot tub, extra bath towels, sled and saucers...but how can you include everything in your description? Also, it might be good to mention in your website information that DVD, CD player with IPOD hookup, and other music options were available...they are a great amenities, especially since the system works throughout the home. Radiant heating was awesome and kept us warm and toasty throughout our visit.
