Menlo Park, CAWe loved staying in this wonderful house in a fantastic location
Left on 11/20/2009 for a stay in June 2009
My wife and I had a wonderful time staying at the house with our three boys (ages 5, 7 and 10) on two separate vacations: we spent a week at the house in August, 2008, and we enjoyed that experience so much that we came back for a second week in June, 2009. The house is quite lovely and well-maintained. The beds are exceptionally comfortable: these were by far the most comfortable beds that I have ever experienced during a vacation rental. While the house itself is great, even more impressive is its location: it is on a nice quiet residential street in Tahoe City that is a 3 minute walk from the main commercial area, including the lovely public beach. From our perspective, this was ideal: being on vacation where we could walk to so many interesting activities right on the lake. In addition to going to the beach, we also enjoyed riding bikes (there is a very nice bike trail that goes all the way up to Squaw Valley, and we could start directly from the house) and rafting on the Truckee River (which was a particular favorite for our kids). Whenever we go back to the Lake Tahoe area in the future, we will definitely want to stay at this house again.

Left on 11/19/2009 for a stay in August 2009
My stay in tahoe was a dream come true. Starting with the house we rented,it was close enough to town ,where you could take nice walks into town. The house was very quaint and very well maintained. It was my first trip there but not my last! It was breathtaking! When I come back,I will definitely rent this house again!

San Francisco, CAWow! We just love this house!
Left on 11/19/2009 for a stay in February 2009
This house is perfect! We've stayed there several times in the last few years and we just won't stay anywhere else. The house is so warm and cozy in the winter and close to great skiing at Squaw Valley and Alpine Meadow. The kids love building a snowman in the backyard in Winter and I love reading a book lying in the hammock in summer. The house has everything that one needs to cook a good meal and relax on the back porch or hang out in the great room next to the fire. We just could not be happier with the location. We love walking around Tahoe City especially on busy weekends-there is no need to drive. Walk everywhere! Supermarket, restaurants, bars, beach there is even a shuttle bus to the ski resorts and the casinos. This house is our favorite place to go for vacation. You won't want to leave!

I have rented this cabin several times over the past three years in both the winter and summer months. It is a beautiful place, decorated very nicely with a good kitchen. It's atmosphere is warm, comfortable, and roomy. It's a great cabin for a family vacation, or even a honeymoon. I love the convenience of being able to walk to town to shop or eat, go boating, check out the music on the waterfront and browse the farmer's market. Its also close the the golf course and there are many wonderful trails for hiking and biking close by. It is also close to a number of great ski resorts. I highly recommend this cabin.
