Tahoe is a great location for plenty of activities, and this house made it easy to get to everything we wanted - hiking, sightseeing, restaurants, grocery stores. There were 4 adults (2 couples) and the double masters were perfect for us. The bathrooms were very roomy, and the showers were great (need instructions on how to use the sauna, though).
Interior of house was well designed, though needs some serious cleaning - especially the carpeting. Coffee maker needs replacement, too. Backyard a nice size, with a picnic table, BBQ/Bar, hot tub. However, needs some general cleaning/wash down with water before being rented. Bbq and hot tub had not been cleaned.Response from Tahoe Getaways - 08/22/2011

Thanks for taking the time to leave a review with us. In regards to some of the cleaning comments: Unfortunately, by the end of the summer some of the carpeting is indeed in need of professionally cleaning. While, we are proactive in scheduling, it is sometimes difficult to do so on turnover days. For this we apologize.
If the coffeemaker needs replacement, we are happy to do so. In the future please let us know during your stay. Lastly, all of our hot tubs are serviced between each and every reservation. After chemicals are put in, the water may look cloudy for a period, but we absolutely make sure it is cleaned prior to guests arrival. -

The house was very cleam, well stocked, new appliances needs to have the fence finished to be call a fenced yard, not needs more living room seating for 8 people overall a very nice place

Comfortable home. Loved the decor and architexture. Would've been nice to have better instructions on how to use the shower/sauna in the master-suites. Home was conveniently located to everything - easy access to bike trails, walking to beach, etc.
