Chez Dumon was built in 1940 and has been owned by the Dumon family since 1963. Very desirable location, close to ski resorts, walking distance to restaurants (Sunnyside Lodge & Firesign Cafe), and only a block to the private homeowners' beach (Tahoe Park Homeowners' Association). Additional Location Information

Located on the lake side of Highway 89. Easy walk downhill to the three acre private homeowners' beach, Tahoe Park Homeowners' Association. A short walk to Firesign Cafe, located on Highway 89, famous for their breakfasts and lunches. Also, a short walk to Sunnyside Lodge, which has a bar restaurant and an upscale dining restaurant. In the summer, they open their lakefront dining area. The cabin is located in an area with other cabins, some of the 1940's era and some built more recently. Our triple lot has lots of very tall, old growth pines and cedars. The trees have filled in so much that there is no longer any view of the lake from the cabin, even though it is only one block down the street.

There is plenty of off street parking on the property, including a circle driveway. In the winter, we have a contract with Tahoe Park Snow Job to clear the driveway with every 6 inches of snowfall.

Skiing: Homewood is four miles down Highway 89. Alpine Meadows and Squaw Valley are about 20 minutes away by car. Northstar, Incline, and Mt. Rose are can be reached in 30-40 minutes.
